We got a quick drink, but the bartenders were busy with serving the restaurant , One of their wonderful ladies named Tonya made eye contact with me and saw that we were in need of some help. We were in a hurry to get to an event at North and she made sure that we got our food quickly and our check as well. We made it to the event thanks to her. “I was looking a Japanese restaurant, and by that I meant one that doesn't break the bank and does not mix Chinese cuisine in the menu. Basically, a 100% Japanese place. I stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. Suffice to say, I am super happy. Why?
First, Chawan Mushi dish. This is a traditional Japanese dish. It's steamed egg with fillings. None of the other Japanese restaurants which I had been to offer this. This dish is simple, yet, packed with so much flavor. I have missed this since my last Japan visit.
Second, my Unadon came with Japanese cucumber and radish pickles. It is hard to find these being included in your rice order at Japanese places here in US so I am super happy to have these in my Unadon to eat with rice.
Third, the Soft Shell Crab and Nama-yaki (fresh oyster with scallion and ponju sauce) are super good. Fresh, perfect temp, and tasty.
Forth, I am able to enjoy my meal without being interrupted with constant questions from waitresses. I am not into that style of being questioned right when I put food in my mouth... I am the "pls give me the food and leave me alone so i can enjoy it. If I have questions, i'll wave you down" kind.

Overall, I am a happy camper to find my favorite dishes in one place. The hibachi tables are packed and the festivity is super nice. The facility is clean and the staffs are attentive and quick.

I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the food and please keep these original dishes on the menu :)

“Honestly, I would recommend eating here every single time, but oh my goodness the staff running this place were so unhelpful! I mean, the person taking our order was good but the people who were placing the food into our tray were despicable! One of them shoveled our food into the box for us and then shoved it down the counter. To our left, there were three dudes standing around waiting for their order, where the server had put the boxes there, and we asked if they had prepared our food already, and he just yelled at us saying that the food was already there, like how am I supposed to know that if you shoved it all the way down the counter! Still though, the food is 9/10 and you should honestly come here for the food, but just beware that this stuff happens.“
