“We came here from my son's birthday dinner. The atmosphere was great. The food was great. The waiter was really nice. The only thing I can honestly say I was thrown off by was our waiter smelled heavily of cigarettes, which kind of grossed us out, but other than that, he was really nice. We did have a large table and I could tell he was a little stressed, but he handled it. Very nicely. I Would definitely come here again. The prices weren't too bad.The food was fresh.It was a nice place overall“

“Had my birthday here, and I have to say this has been one of the most unexpectedly unique dining experiences I’ve had. People have said a lot of nice things—how inventive, creative, fresh—about the food, but I’m moved by the stories behind each bite. The place is not your regular omakase. Each course contains a little bit of where the chef’s from, where he’s been and worked, and what he—most locals — grown up eating. If other omakase are trying to out do each other in exclusivity and luxury, then this place delivers sincerity, originality, and a taste of New England you can’t find in any other omakase place. You are guaranteed to walk away with a meaningful and beautiful memory. I hope more people go and give this place a try.“

The dishes are unique, tasty, and well prepared. You need to have your entire present to be seated and they do not take reservations as there are few tables. The larger group I saw about six people. It's not a large place and has a very minimalist feel with the decor.“

The Pad Thai is amazing, and there is no extra cost for adding shrimp or chicken. Each time we order from Tunami we try something new. And each time we are wowed.

Not sure if I came in at the end of the day, or because I spent X amount, but he straight up just gifted me this chunk of Tuna. “As someone who has had the privilege of dining at some extraordinary Chinese and Japanese restaurants around the world, from Hong Kong to Tokyo to Manhattan, I can say without hesitation that this is the finest Chinese and Japanese food in all of Massachusetts. The ingredients are exceptional, the preparation is thoughtful, and the consistency is remarkable. Restaurants like this are rare.

We even brought our chef Tracy here one evening. She’s worked in several Michelin-starred kitchens and spent years cooking in private estates and luxury hotels. And she was completely blown away. She kept commenting on the quality of the fish and the balance of the dishes, which says a lot coming from someone who cooks professionally at that level.“
