“Tavern 27 is such a cosy, inviting tapas spot the Lakes Region and the community is fortunate to be invited back inside following the pandemic and Ray and Leslie’s other life adventures. We recently held an intimate employee appreciation event there, and it could not have been a more perfect experience. The atmosphere was perfect, Leslie curated an excellent menu of from scratch bites, and some members of our team had never been there before but I suspect are already making plans for their next visit. You have to be super patient and not in a rush because Leslie prepares every dish made to order, and they’re also rebuilding staff so things will take time, but if you’re seeking a memorable evening out, and are looking for a rustic casual destination, please go visit them. “Its nice to have choices when you want a cup of coffee, and many local stores are now selling local brands even the large supermarket. You can tell a good coffee roaster from their decaf, that's when a coffee drinker likes their coffee, they don't drink it for the caffeine but the pure flavor. now when a roaster can capture real coffee flavor in a decaf, that's exquisite. I happened to grab a pound of their coffee the weekend blend at a small local store, and a bag of decaf. i wasn't disappointed. now anytime i see their whole bean coffee, it's the first thing I grab. very lucky to have such a great coffee roaster so local to us.”

“Loved sitting at the bar. Staff was very attentive. Bar fries were great to as well as the mussels. Pork tenderloin dinner was great, grilled caesar, not so much. Chicken was cold. Drinks were finominal. I would go again!”

“I have recently become a frequent visitor of the dinner. Megan was our waitress each time. I can only hope I get the level of service in other places as I did with Megan. She was the nicest and prompt server I had in a long time. I recommend Weirs Diner to everybody!”

“We have tried nearly every restaurant in the area but this place is a hidden gem. As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted with a warm welcome and the atmosphere felt awesome. It’s a big, old house that’s been converted into several different types of seating areas. Tons of outdoor seating, nice bar and a nice dining room. We were in the mood for pizza so we tried 2 different ones. We did the chicken bacon ranch and a plain cheese but with their homemade garlic butter sauce. We ordered them extra crispy. Well, I was VERY surprised that these were some of the best pizzas that we’ve ever had and I’m a pretty picky/hard pizza critic. Cooked perfectly, awesome crust, no flop, good amount of cheese and the garlic butter sauce is AMAZING! Great view of the lake. Service was excellent. Definitely will be back!”

“I've started asking for my Blizzard well-stirred to make sure the fruit is well-mixed to the bottom. Perhaps, I emphasized this a little too strongly today. It was delicious but more like a shake consistency. It would have failed the tip-over, but this store doesn't participate in that promotion.”

“I will never go to T Bones again. I ordered takeout for a sick friend. All he wanted was a hamburger with sautéed onions on top No ff, lettuce, tomato . It cost $17.53 When he opened the order it didn't even have the onions. Pathetic service”

“Service and Food was great. Wings with Mango Haberno sauce was delicious. Grilled Chicken sandwich was also delicious with shredded lettuce, pickles, mango pineapple, habanero salsa (held the curry coconut) on a toasted bun. Alcohol beverages pricey but food prices very reasonable for boardwalk.”
