We both chose the seafood fettuccine, which was heavenly - incredible pasta and sauce topped with succulent seafood. Desserts were lavender creme brulee and white chocolate cake...Holy cow! Dinner and service were both top-notch.. and we can't wait to return!“

“This is one my favorite spots in Portsmouth. They have onsite parking which is a determinant at times. I frequent here and have never been disappointed.. The menu changes with the seasons, which keeps the choices fresh and exciting. The craft cocktails are clever and delicious. Try the Cloister! Sometimes I stop in just for a drink and a snack, but I live getting a many courses and going all out. The agnolotti seems to be a constant, and it’s a must order every visit. During the winter months, my all time favorite is the cassoulet. This has one of the best flavor profiles I’ve ever tasted. I’m not kidding. Don’t forget to order the soufflé in advance for a delectable and interactive experience. Great service, food and atmosphere. You can’t go wrong here.“

“I went to Pink Hippo Cafe for the first time yesterday. I wasn't sure what to order but the batista helped me decide. she asked me to taste it before I paid for it to make sure it was right. when I tell you her customer service skills are off the charts, I mean 20 out 10, highly recommend!!! Good customer service is rare nowadays. I wish I lived closer, I would go everyday! She was kind, friendly and helpful.“

“Great service, we were met with a smile at the door. Had a fabulous meal! One of our party has to eat gluten free due to her food allergy. The staff was knowledgeable and quick to answer any questions. Not only did I feel safe about no cross contamination, the gluten free food was fantastic! We had Appetizers, entrée and dessert. (The Gluten free Beignets were out of this world) Please make them a permanent item on the menu! Good portions, even left with boxes of leftovers. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back! “Great view when sitting outside. The food was tasty but not to die for. My fries had good seasoning, but they were a tad cold. The crab cake sandwich had bacon on it and a great texture. Also, the waitress was friendly and prompt at serving us.“

The menu is a bit confusing but it’s nice you can make your own taco creations. I decided to go with the El Pastor bowl and some queso.

“Wonderful Easter celebration dinner. I've been to CR's before but this was my best meal there ever. I started with Green Goddess salad - all ingredients were treated so perfectly; peas, asparagus, greens. My entree was the he Scottish salmon — just great! Served with a sweet base of squash and corn. Finished with chocolate lava cake and a lovely port wine. Lava cake was light yet very chocolatey. Exceeded expectations!“
