Throughout our meal the staff was genuine and kind with helping us celebrate our wedding anniversary. Making us both feel truly special. “We were seated immediately. Server was new(ish) but very sweet and very efficient. The bolognese was to die for and my husband had lobster ravioli. Hadn’t been here for years but will be back soon. Wonderful night in Portsmouth 😊“

“This restaurant is in a truck stop and it's some of the BEST food I've ever gotten at a truck stop.
I got baked ziti with chicken and I highly recommend it. The price isn't to bad considering it's in a truck stop. If you're a driver who's been driving all day and want a warm made to order meal this place is definitely worth a try!“

“Would give it an (overall) 5 rating and 4 (food) rating given a little more sauce on the pasta, and WAY less salt on the bread rolls - which I cannot even eat without scraping first. Regular stop for the wife and I for Spaghetti with Meatballs and sometimes, Sausages. With the Meat Sauce, a very tasty meal for the price, though I believe the portions of the sauce have been reduced recently, lowering it's value as well. All meals come with a choice of soup or salad, I choose the salad regularly (lettuce, tomato, onion and croutons, Italian dressing and optional fresh grated cheese). The tiramisu is to die for and the wine (Red Blend) very nice at the price.“

“Love love love The Bread Box!!! @Nestportsmouthnh order from them on a near daily basis! The food is always delicious, delivered fast and they are so good to me! They know my order by heart and have been known to surprise with chocolate and surprise coffee! THEY ARE THE BEST NEIGHBORHOOD LUNCH SPOT and we are so lucky to have them in Portsmouth!“

“First time ever and had the most AMAZING meals, drinks and experience. Staff A+! Food, chicken, broccoli Alfredo. 10/10. Creamed lemon Haddock. 10/10!!! Drinks and bartender, Brittany A+. Chef came out to us to see how our meal was. Told him we left NOTHING on the plate, neither one of us. Not a CRUMB! I usually leave a little something to take home. I couldn’t stop eating. DELICIOUS. “I am a cannoli junkie. I was walking back to the hotel and saw the sign and had to get a cannoli. It's a character flaw!
The cannoli was made to order and was amazing.
I'd have taken a picture, but it didn't make it back to the hotel...
It's not fancy or high-society dining, but it was one hell of a delicious cannoli!!“

“The Filet Mignon was so tender, and flavorful! Each bite was an experience! Staff was remarkably Pleasant, and attentive! very amazing their ability to set such a relaxing tone definitely a place where you can let your guard down and enjoy company while experiencing amazing food an wine would also be an amazing place for a larger party family and friends could get lost amongst themselves in a place like this their private vault room is beautiful“
