“Worthen House Cafe is one of our fav spot for drinks and food. It is a neighborhood bar with a distinctive decoration.
What do I like about it? I love the pulley ceiling fans, its history as a bar since 1898 and during prohibition and also a fav handout of Jack Karouac. We like to play Keno and have a couple of drinks. Their drinks are very reasonable and their food is outstanding. Their staff is attentive and friendly. They will be featured in the American Best Restaurant TV program.“

“We regularly visit Paddy's and always have a positive experience. Their staff is super friendly and treat their regulars fantastic. The food is standard American bar food, and you get exactly what you expect. We enjoy their Monday night trivia and special events. I also appreciate that they are involved with the community, like opening early after the Turkey Trot. If you are nearby, it's worth a visit.“

“You hometown average hole in the wall tavern BUT you can't beat the bahtendahs or the people! Most of the patrons ah very down to 🌎 with only a small percentage (as with most ANYWHERE ya go) who ah not 'very nice' If you're out & about on your Harley Davidsons, it's a great place to staht, and/or finish, your day with friends, old & new! “First, I'd like to say I tried contacting Charlie's before I went this route. I didn't get a response. I've been to Charlie's with a group of 8 for lunch. It was very good. We got what we ordered and everything was delivered together. On Friday, 4 of us went there for food and drinks before the Folk Festival. Okay, Corona, I asked for lime. Didn’t get it. No biggie. Two of us ordered hamburgers, one ordered a tuna sandwich, the 4th haddock. Nope, no haddock. Okay, sirloin tips. Nope. Country chicken. Nope and don't know what it is. Okay....I'll have a hamburger. 15 minutes after (mind you 25 minutes have already passed), sorry. no buns. How about white bread! 40 minutes after initial order, hamburger on white bread and something resembling a tuna sandwich (?) arrives. We felt sorry for the waitress. But definitely poor service. I'm sorry I have to post this, I like helping local businesses, but lack of listed items was horrible.“

Jim and Sheila were outstanding and helped with every detail and accommodated every need. 70 people enjoyed the food, efficient event room with full service bar and large handicapped bathrooms. Everyone enjoyed themselves. thank you for the awesome memories.“

“Wanted a chicken barb, my dad took me out for lunch to this place and its amazing. Food was 10/10 service was 10/10 Jenny and Ashley took care of us. My dads drink was refilled because it was empty (good eyes on table) we were checked on a few times between food drops. Im really impressed. Great work ladies, you made such a great impression on me as a patron and a former bartender. “My friends and I ordered a special, the Ribeye., w/asparus and mine had their specialty mashed potato. We all agreed how amazingly tender and cooked to perfection they were. Asparagus was the best I've had in a long time and the Mashed so yummy I kept wanting more.“

“Place was great early on and even through Covid. Recently prices spiked and food prep went down a notch. Seems like they’re more picky with their waiter/waitress selection than quality of their chefs. Polished concrete floor just makes it way too loud to have a descent conversation, especially when you have a table full of over-served knuckleheads next to you.

And as a reviewer mentioned below, they way over-salt. The batter on the calamari was so over-salted to the point we couldn’t even eat it. I also had the halibut recently and it was way overcooked and way over-salted. They need more quality control coming out of the kitchen.“

“A beautiful location if you have a large group. Our waitress was awesome and very friendly. I would definitely recommend it.It's a country club in a ritzy area, so the prices are a little higher but not awful if you'refrugal. There's an online menu so definitely check that out.“

“They have some of the best chicken tenders I've ever had. Be careful if you eat too many you won't have room for the other good food they have. I have had the haddock fish sandwich, cheeseburger, steak and cheese as well as their Mac and cheese before....mmmmm delicious! Not much of a drinker but they make a tasty drink when I do get one. Food though is great.“
