Place is overall ok. Service was very slow (although polite and friendly). Food was pretty basic Sysco or Applebee's fare. The atmosphere would be beautiful, with nice views over the valley, except the restaurant sits right over the outdoor pool and playground so you're serenaded by the sounds of peoples kids yelling profanities while you dine. One and done for us.

The Hilltop Restaurant, located in Sanbornton, New Hampshire, is a hidden gem that offers amazing food and beautiful views. The restaurant, open to the public, serves delicious dishes such as chicken fingers, macaroni and cheese with chicken fingers, baked haddock, French Onion soup, and Margherita pizza. The menu items are reasonably priced and the staff is usually very nice and attentive. The service was excellent. The view from the restaurant is one of its best features, making it a great spot to bring your camera. However, the food was truthfully not seasoned or creative and it took a long time for our food to come out. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, though there was almost nobody eating here, which is an odd atmosphere. Overall, The Hilltop Restaurant is a great choice for a meal, with most reviewers giving it 5 stars and recommending it to others.
