“Small, but scrumptious little find! My favorite sandwich is hands down the BLTA on house-made focaccia. The vegan seasonal cashew cheesecake is absolutely delicious. Note: they sell it by the slice or whole (perfect for family gatherings!). Executive Pastry Chef, Kristin is remarkable at her craft! Parking is limited, as is customer area inside. There are a few tables outside, if you wish to enjoy your drinks/food there, weather-permitting. They use fresh, quality ingredients, so expect prices on the higher end. I highly recommend checking out Ginger Fox for yourself!“

“I went there with a group of friends Friday night and had a great time with perfect service and atmosphere. They put on NCAA tournament game for us while I enjoyed The Rattler. (if you order this sandwich, go with the fried chicken option), I’m already looking forward to going back and getting the exact same sandwich. It was that good.“

“First time we found Memories was a couple years back, last day of the season. Since then we've gone when we're in the area. Their ice cream is delicious. The flavors are all amazing. You literally can't go wrong. The staff are all friendly. The parking lot is large and there are many areas to sit and enjoy the treats.“

There's also benches outside you sit and munch away while looking at the art of ice cream on the side of the building.My friend mentioned that it's cool that they had a huge selection of menu items, but it always made it difficult for him to choose and didn't bother to really go through it.“

Not only did the Sparkletoes Imperial IPA not disappoint, but the whole atmosphere was so chilled and relaxed. I really enjoyed my visit and hope to make it back soon! “Surprising, even for me that I have never reviewed Freedom Cafe because I've been going here for years. Until Covid hit we were regulars at the Wednesday night open mic, an area hotspot for students and singer songwriters to show us what they can do. The freedom Café is a nonprofit whose proceeds go towards stopping human trafficking. A serious social issue that is on the rise in the United States, it comes in many forms ranging from forced labor to sex trafficking. There is an extensive menu for a Cafe of this nature , including many different types of coffees, pastries, and crapes. The crêpes options range from sweet to savory. I've tried both and can recommend them without reservation. If you want some good coffee, good food, good atmosphere, and lots of other amenities, choose The Freedom Cafe and put your money where your mouth is. It's a good cause, there's nothing to lose and everything to gain by dropping a few bucks here.“

“I was given a special tasty treat today visiting Laney & Lu for the first time. This is an amazing place, very spacious with an outdoor patio, very neat and clean, plenty of parking (which is an anomaly for Portsmouth), excellent customer service and the food is delicious and divine! This is perfect combination if you want to relax and sit in and dine and or or if you want to eat quick and go but want something healthy, nourishing with high quality ingredients and taste. I had the best egg sandwich of my life, a Biscuit & Gravy Organic egg over easy with cashew mushroom gravy, walnut chorizo, spinach, micro-greens, scallion, served on gluten-free sweet potato biscuit. It was flavorful and fresh. In addition, they have an assortment of tasty and fresh pastries, designer coffee, espresso drinks and herbal teas. I had a "Macro" doughnut which was delightfully sweet, moist on the inside with a lustrous coat of sweet maple walnut glaze on the outside. I had the tea with Ashwaganda, gingko, lavender, tulsi, schisandra berries and it cleared my sinuses. Happy to have found this place, I am definitely coming back to try the rest of their menu.“

“Very good & many varieties of ice cream, but unfortunately, since we went only two days before it closed for the season, there was not much left. My husband‘s favorite pistachio ice cream was all out. So he had coffee ice cream & said it was very good but he felt no better than some others he’s tried. My mint chip was very good as well.“

“This place has something for everyone! The variety of food options and drink options are plentiful. I have been here with family and friends, sat inside and out. The staff are friendly and attentive, the place is clean and welcoming. The food is special in a simple, clean way. In the summer you can bring your dog and in the winter you can ice skate. You have to try this place!“

“In area on business and needed a good cuppa joe and a sinker and decided to try Aroma Joe's for the first time. Had their house blend, which was great--not watered-down like Dunkin Donuts coffee. Sadly, all they had were chocolate glazed donuts onhand--not for me. Anyhow, friendly staff, drive-thru waitline not too bad and will get their coffee on roadtrips again!“
