This year was a bummer. We come up every Christmas and the hotel used to have a welcoming family holiday vibe. This year the doormen were gone and none of the staff even made eye contact. The only exception to that was the horribly rude bar tender who screams at every customer. I can't be the only person to mention her. The Mountain View Grand is so kid friendly, they have a pool, movie theater, and activity/game room with a pool table, ping pong, foosball, and air hockey. The food is good but it is expensive and has limited options. The staff is very kind. There is an amazing view of mountains out of every window.

Dinner for 3. Very noisy as school vacation. Server frenetic. Bread basket for purchase was not very good. Rolls not warm. Corn bread crumbly. French onion soup good. Kids buffet fair at best (daughter said whoopie pie was dry. Pasta just okay. I had the special for $62. It tasted good but steak was very small. Wines by the glass are basic. Husband had pork - meet ok but string beans very garlicky. Overall expensive for a noisy atmosphere and okay food at expensive prices.
