“My wife is formerly from Wolfeboro and wanted to show me the ropes and this restaurant was definitely on my wife's list of ," must " see experiences representing the town and its old world feel. It was truly all that and more.Parking: As typical in a small town street front venue, parking is available, with some walking depending on the day, and time.“
“A nice semi casual slightly upscale place with a nice rustic decor. The restaurant menu has some gourmet style dishes on it. There is also a bar menu loaded with classic options.Nice cocktail offerings and plenty of parking. The night we went they had live entertainment and we had a fantastic time.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible“
“We were happy to find a place that had buck a shuck oysters close to home. The atmosphere is perfect. Cozy, classy, with a wide open view of the lake. The cocktails were amazing. Absolutely perfect. We didn't try much of the menu because we were gorging on oysters and tacos, but will be back soon to try the rest! Not sure how we missed this unassuming space. We've lived down the road for 20 years.“
“I want to share my experience at El Cents yesterday. First off they are open 7 days a week 11a to 9p. No other restaurant in Wolfeboro is. The staff has remained the same for years with the exception of the summer help. This is authentic Mexican food and like any other restaurant has is ups and down with staffing today. They have never been anything but kind, professional. Remember servers make 3.27 per hourly rate. Kindness and respect goes along way and you would expect the same for what you do.“
“Always had the best Chinese food. We had tried other area restaurants after they were closed due to the kitchen fire but no one compared and we even had to travel well out of Wolfeboro to retrieve the carry out orders. We have been down to the Virgin Islands since July and are very much looking forward to getting some Seabird when we are back in the states next month!“
“I was looking for something different in the area and found this cute cozy bar/restaurant with amazing food reviews. The food was really delicious! The lobster bisque was perfect. The prime rib, mashed and asparagus were also very yummy - served Fri/Sat nights. My friend had the fish tacos and loved that they were made with haddock, they weren’t fried, and the sriracha cream on them was just enough kick. We had a beer on tap which was good, though there wasn’t a huge selection and that’s ok there was just enough variety for everyone. They had a couple cocktail specials posted and full bar too.The sign warned outside for staffing shortage and to be patient which is to be expected now a days. However, our server/bartender was fabulous and the food came out hot and fresh.Prices were very reasonable and the vibe was lively but also comfy. I’ll definitely be back.Oh and they are closed Tuesdays. If you really love tacos, get them elsewhere on Tuesday and double down that week because they have $2 tacos on Wednesday instead!“
“You guys should remove the barrel table to the right of the bar. We were warned that it was next to the bar but not that it was also next to the door smokers use every couple minutes to go outside and next to the constantly opening kitchen cause we just genuinely couldn't hear each other with everything going on. This is more of a suggestion then a knock on you guys though. We still think you guys deserve five stars cause the food is great and the staff is awesome, you guys are the reason we drove 90 minutes to eat there, just wish we could have talked to each other lol“
“La Boca is the beat restaurant in Wolfeboro, and likely in the Lakes region. We had the 4 course fixed menu and were enchanted with each course. The amouse bouche to start and cheese platter at the end were also divine. Amazing to find such gourmet dishes and presentation in this area. This restaurant is a MUST visit.“
