Belmontes Ristorante Reviews
They had NO BREAD...AND MY MEAL DEFINITELY NEEDED BREAD. A GOOD MANAGER WOULD OF RUSH TO LOCAL SUPERMARKET ETC TO PURCHASE BREAD ETC .NO EXCUSE.Even though I did leave a good tip for server...not his fault.
We had a large party (13 people) and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious.
Extremely disappointed after seeing 4.8. Restaurant was boring, depressing and food was terrible. Never again.

Belmontes Ristorante offers fresh and delicious meals with perfectly prepared entrees. The restaurant provides a lovely view by the window and attentive service when it's not crowded. Recent visits have included issues like fishy clams, missing menu items, and below-par service, but the restaurant remains a popular spot for those seeking a tasty meal. The menu features Italian-American dishes, with favorites like the shrimp with Capellini and tuna, and the flounder oreganoto. The restaurant has a cozy, neighborhood feel, not pretentious, with friendly and professional staff. The bread served with "real" olive oil is appreciated, and many dishes offer generous portions suitable for take-home. The atmosphere is intimate and casual, making it a great place to enjoy a meal.
The restaurant is especially busy on half-price pasta nights, Monday and Thursday, so reservations or eating late are recommended. Customers have praised the amazing quiet ambiance, great service, and delicious food, including tender veal, an out-of-this-world stuffed pork chop, and a must-try lemon cake for dessert. The chef has had some off nights, with tough and overcooked chicken, but the restaurant remains a popular choice, with the staff removing the issue from the bill and customers eager to give it another try.
