Not sure why this place has bad reviews but I'ma give 5 stars on this one because everytime i come here the service is excellent the workers are nice and they always take care of you . Get u a ice latte they are soo good !
I looked at the GN website and thought it was a new place. I was there about two years and looking at the reviews and pix from customers realized what a difference it was. Muffins wrapped in saran wrap tell the story. The only casino that doesn't have a decent coffee and pastry place. Well Ballys and Resorts have a DD which is a step up.
We were checked in at Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe from October 16-18, 2025. We went to Bean and bread Cafe few times. They were always friendly, helpful and attentive staff. They even help us get our water bottle refilled because we are going to bike that day. The breads and cookies were great too!

Popular items include the NY cheesecake, Oreo brownie, and sandwiches, all of which are reasonably priced. Recent visitors praised the delicious food and drinks, with the roast beef sandwich being called excellent. The green tea iced tea received high praise for its wonderful taste, leading some to have two glasses. The staff, especially Bernita and her coworker, were described as professional, kind, and fun, providing a positive experience. The location is convenient, near the parking garage, and the small deli shop is highly recommended for a tasty treat in a cozy atmosphere.
