“We took our kids to showboat for the water park but couldn’t way to dine at chickies and Pete’s…. Upon arrival my two year old daughter was asleep and we were escorted to a booth that suited our situation. When we were sat our waiter, Angel, approached and immediately greeted us with enthusiasm, kindness, and laughter. He knew to throw the kids meals in right away and gave us adults time to unwind after a long day. “Stayed here with my family from Tuesday to Thursday in July, and the front desk staff gave us two rooms with a passageway to and fro, so it felt like we had a two-room suite! One major observation from my aunt is the lack of a microwave, so you're forced to buy everything on site or eat what you need to immediately to avoid it from perishing or getting too cold. The rooms are nice and are hardwood instead of carpet, which I love, but housekeeping missed fixing the other bed when they did the cleaning. There are NO shortages of food places you can buy from, including two Starbucks locations on site, a Mrs. Fields (which I feel is 24 hours but maybe not), Hooters, a pizza place, and also P.F. Changs and Carmines (classic NYC Italian spot!). I don't gamble, but the slots were not as busy as you would think and there are no-smoking areas. Plus the hotel has access to the boardwalk! For those commuting, like myself on my way back to NYC, there's a bus terminal in the hotel, so all you need to do is go down to catch your bus. The hotel is also around a 10-15 minute Lyft trip to and fro the Tanger Outlets. All in all, it was a great experience staying here.“
“We were recently here on a Sunday. We didn't eat anything. We just had a few drinks and watched the Phillies game. It's a nice hole in the wall bar and a great change of pace for a casino. I don't believe that there is another bar like it at any of the AC casinos. If I didn't know any better, I could have believed that I was in a Levittown PA bar. In a good way.“
“If you want to have a place with great drinks, food, and service this is an amazing place. If you are coming for the virtual reality there are a lot of game options and everyone had fun! The only downfall of our visit was the game not registering the ball during our gameplay and the game freezing which caused a loss of time. Our game sadly shut down during the gameplay and we had to reboot. As this may not happen to everyone. One thing you need to know about this place is to come with patience.“
“Very nice but rooms need to be updated. Also, asked for nonconnecting room, said no problem and gave us a connecting room. People next door smoking pot so it permeated our room! Purchased the disco show tickets through the room package so we were not able to pick our seats.“
“Tons of huge screens, cold beer, food is standard bar fare and pretty good, service was very good. Generally a very good experience, nothing to wow me. Not sure why so many bad reviews. Buffalo wings actually had some meat on them (I feel like so many places nowadays give skimpy wings) and the pepperoni pizza tastes better than it looks.“
“Robert's Place has great wings, cold beer, and good music. It's a neighborhood bar that locals go, and in the summer, it's hard to get into. (Seating is limited, so go early and take your time) Nothing fancy, and I think that's what makes it so special. A fun-loving crowd, people friendly atmosphere, and what you see is what you get. The servers are hard working. So be kind and be patient, please, and they will take care of you. “Came here for our sons 10th Birthday, and our experience was 100% perfect, food is amazing, and the service let's say was the best, our waitress was EXCELLENT ! if you ever come to this Applebee's you must ask for Anna, no other wait staff was even close to our waitress.. you will NOT be disappointed“
