Went to the VUE at Claridge AC this weekend for the AC Air show BBQ buffet! The view was spectacular!~ That's where things kind of fell apart. For the price, I was disappointed to say the least. Not enough bartenders when the even opened so things went SLOWLY, bar ran out of drink mixers 3xs, ran out of hamburgers, only had cold cheese slices ran out of hot dog buns, ran out of napkins, supermarket grade pasta salad, canned baked beans, dry and clumpy mac and cheese, VERY...
The view from the view is awesome. The elavators(2) take forever to get up there and down stairs. The place has restrooms and outdoor seating areas. ( windy days you are stuck because chairs fly around and hit things. ) The food is very good they had that day. I ate alot of what was available. Charging 105 bux a person is a rip off though that was to watch the airshow. A year ago it was 72 bux a person. And you have to pay 15.00 to park in the garage. Now to the part i made this...
Once we figured out how to get there, we found a down to earth bar with a great happy hour and fantastic views of the area. Bartender Brian was excellent. My Caesar's salad was fine (too big to finish) and my husband's enchilada was tasty. We'd go back when it's warmer to really enjoy the view.
