“My first time going into this restaurant and the place was very clean and smelled like fresh food. The lady behind the counter was sweet, welcoming and very friendly. Honestly it has been a long time since Ive gotten this kind of service in a food establishment. Coming from New York I’ve been wary about buying halal food from Rahway (where I live for 5 years) because a lot of food places have disappointed me in this very area. So I’ve bypassed this place for a long time. But today I’ve decided to stop in after reading its reviews and I have to say. I am pleasantly surprised the food is good and fresh the spice was perfect and the falafels were very good. I am so happy this place is close to home I will be in here often. “I ordered Chicken Biryani and Chicken Kabab through Uber Eats. After I ordered , I realized that I forgot to order Nan. So I called the restaurant and ask them that what can I do now. The person(probably the owner) replied , I will add Nan and whenever you visit, give me 2 Dollars. That was really a nice gesture which I will remember and must appreciate(along with the debt on me).
Talking about food, I had eaten many Biryanis in USA but it is one of the best real Pakistani biryani. Kababs were also fresh and tasty. I highly recommend those who want to have Halal and real Pakistani taste, must visit.“

“Humble seems to be the best word to summarize this restaurant. The men who run it seem to have a great rapport with their customers; they’ve been there for 20+ years and it shows. They were kind and accomodating. The food was plated carefully and was pretty taste. My only complaints were putting margarine on my pancakes without asking and the tiny plastic utensils, which left my hands covered in syrup. However both of those go to the restaurant being unpretentious. There’s no atmoshere to speak of but it was clean. I’d eat here again but probably wouldn’t go out of my way.“

“This is one of my favorite places to eat when I am in Manhattan. The food is always consistently excellent and the portion sizes for what you pay is very fair. I love both the combination platter and sandwich. I ordered the sandwich this time because I thought the platter would be too much on a hot humid day but the sandwich was perfectly fine. A soft pita was loaded with chopped gyro and chicken with fresh veggies and topped with their white sauce. It was so good and the meats were so juicy and tender. I just love eating it at the cement benches at the tiny park near by and just people watching. It is a real experience and one of the things you need to try when you come to Manhattan and to the MoMA across the street.“

Everything we tried had that authentic, home-cooked feel. My only gripe is the name; calling it "Bombay Paratha" doesn’t quite fit, as something like "Lahori Paratha" or "Punjabi Paratha" would be more accurate. That aside, the food speaks for itself. “Leaving Staten Island, I was still searching for good pizza and ready to find it. We cruised around a while looking for an open place with parking and there was Brother's. It was very tasty. Everyone was helpful and price was fair. Would repeat.“

“After a tasty round of appetizers including tangy baked Fava beans, creamy smooth hummus, baba ghanoush and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside falafel, we feasted on two lamb dishes, one of which was perfectly grilled, and an order of couscous with vegetables. I still remember today how great everything tasted. Service was friendly and efficient and the decor included lamps and accessories imported from Morocco.
