“I recently ate here with my family, we requested a table of 9 which was accommodated by Mr. Rashid right away. We ordered Channa with puri and halwa, Chicken and Mutton kharahi, chicken charga, and biryani. Both of the kharahi were totally amazing, the taste was the best I’ve had in the Edison area!! The chicken charga was soft and tender with amazing flavor. The service was great, the ambience was good, overall amazing experience. Most importantly the owner was super nice and provided a great service. I totally recommend this place for great food experience.“

“Been coming to this spot since I was 3! I was a bit apprehensive when I heard they had switched owners, and would be offering more than just pizza and would no longer just be cash only. “Recently visited the Rahway location for the 1st time, after hearing good things about them. Super friendly staff to go along with their absolutely delicious meals. I would have taken pics of my meal but it was that good I couldn’t wait to start eating. I ordered the chicken platter and it was well flavored and portions were perfect for me, not to mention the price was reasonable. We also got baklava for dessert and it was the best I’ve had! “We love this place! The name is misleading as it has the most authentic Pakistani/ Indian entrees not just fried fast food! Everything we’ve tried from their menu is delicious but our personal fav are biryani, Haleem, chicken tikkas, bihari and parathas. Their special naans are amazing! “This is one of my favorite places to eat when I am in Manhattan. The food is always consistently excellent and the portion sizes for what you pay is very fair. I love both the combination platter and sandwich. I ordered the sandwich this time because I thought the platter would be too much on a hot humid day but the sandwich was perfectly fine. A soft pita was loaded with chopped gyro and chicken with fresh veggies and topped with their white sauce. It was so good and the meats were so juicy and tender. I just love eating it at the cement benches at the tiny park near by and just people watching. It is a real experience and one of the things you need to try when you come to Manhattan and to the MoMA across the street.“

“Worked in the area for quite some time and decided to give it a taste . I had Nashville quesadilla with crispy chicken instead of the original way cooked . I asked for it to be cooked extra crispy, which it was made to like. I will be back again.“

“Humble seems to be the best word to summarize this restaurant. The men who run it seem to have a great rapport with their customers; they’ve been there for 20+ years and it shows. They were kind and accomodating. The food was plated carefully and was pretty taste. My only complaints were putting margarine on my pancakes without asking and the tiny plastic utensils, which left my hands covered in syrup. However both of those go to the restaurant being unpretentious. There’s no atmoshere to speak of but it was clean. I’d eat here again but probably wouldn’t go out of my way.“

Everything we tried had that authentic, home-cooked feel. My only gripe is the name; calling it "Bombay Paratha" doesn’t quite fit, as something like "Lahori Paratha" or "Punjabi Paratha" would be more accurate. That aside, the food speaks for itself.
