“Pasta making class Olivia was excellent. She understands the regions of Italy and was able to prep and explain with ease and grace. A participant asked about cacio e pepe, which was not on the agenda, and Olivia quickly prepared the basic but difficult to nail sauce. It was spot on. Would def recommend HBB to friends and family. One suggestion though - supplying guests with aprons would be helpful!“

“While the prices are high and the lines are long, it is worth it. The flavors were rich, the texture was dence and the portions were large. Particularly the sour cherry was my favorite by far. The contrast of sour and sweet worked really well. The waffles cone added a great texture and they can even make it vegan too.
The staff was super friendly and had tones of energy which is more than I could say for myself if I was taking care of so many people all fay long. The line when we went wasn't too bad since it was late on a weekday.“

“Truly a hometown place for the community! They have employees that are so kind and compassionate to kids, adults, even free doggie ice cream cups for pups! LOL Their ice cream flavors and quality and assortment of desserts are unsurpassed anywhere! Everything is sooooo good!! And they do awesome events for the community all the time. “Love this place!! The last two times the soft serve has been a little melted when it was served so I had to eat it pretty fast to avoid a mess but still some of the best soft serve. I love that they make it on site! I do wish they let you mix chocolate/vanilla with either of their two feature flavors though 💔“

“We tried the chocolate chip cookie skillet with vanilla ice cream and it was delicious! We also tried a peanut butter cookie skillet with the salted caramel ice cream and that combination was an absolute Star ⭐️ The cookies are freshly baked to order, Highly recommend! If you are in the Merchantville area, definitely check these guys out. The shop is clean and family friendly! 😃“

“I dont have a lot of experience with dairy queen but ive been to this one a few times and always have had a good experience.This time i went in for my birthday blizzard and the app was being stupid and not giving me the correct coupon code. We had Lilly making our blizzards and she was very patient while i wrestled with the app and helped me be able to get my birthday blizzard.Thanks Lilly! And id definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a high quality dessert treat all year long!“

“This place is so great. It was criminal of me not to ask her name, but the lady working the register was extremely pleasant. Upon ordering a brownie sundae, I let her know that I didn’t want the cherry that comes on top. She gave me my sundae, and told me that instead of the cherry I didn’t want, they put an extra little piece of brownie on top for me 🥹 it was such a sweet gesture, it really made my day. “Eat before you get here because the portions are monstrous, so huge I’m sure I gained a pound —or two— in one eating.
Ashamed? Not!
The swirl soft serve with rainbow jimmies was so worth it. Not only was it truly yummy but the ice cream never melted like they do at the other shops. Not sure of the machine they decided to invest in but my cone maintained its shape to the very end.
I’m so glad that I decided to give them a chance.“

“Came for espresso and sat at the espresso bar. All the gentlemen at the bar were pleasant to chat with. The espresso tasted great. It’s roasted in house and the quality of the espresso machine makes the 5 star quality beverage. True Italian experience.“

“I tried this ice cream place with my 5 year old little boy tonight for the first time ever and was excited! My son enjoyed his ice cream, but I was sadly disappointed with having ordered the hot fudge sunday only to receive vanilla soft serve with chocolate syrup and NOT actual HOT FUDGE, which I was expecting on a $6 hot fudge Sunday. 😞. If I wanted chocolate syrup over soft serve, I would have ordered that. I had an infant with me as well and that's WHY I didn't walk all the way back up from my car with two young kids to see if it could be fixed. I'm not sure I will be returning or able to recommend this place to anyone else. I was surprised because I had seen good reviews on this business but for my first time to have this happen, that wasn't impressive or good at all. 👎☹️“

“We had a wonderful experience tonight. We were out walking our dog when we stopped in. A woman out front was kind enough to take us to the to go part of the store to skip the line. The ice cream was delicious and the Chinese takeout container was a fun touch. I’d recommend stopping for a fun atmosphere and sweet treat.“

“Almost all of the flavors offered are wonderful. I love the rotating seasonal flavors and the fact that samples are offered so you can try things out. It is a bit pricey, but the ice cream is very high quality and many of the flavors are unique, so it is worth it. My favorite flavors are darkest chocolate and rainbow buttermilk frozen yogurt, both of which pair very well together!“

“Literally the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life. And that’s saying a lot because I eat a lot of ice cream. The owner, Gene is very kind and let us try different flavors. I recommend getting the cookie dough and campfire s’mores together! Mondays are a great day to go since it’s a slower day. Support local!“
