If an out of owner asked me the same question (where can I get a value priced breakfast, in a casual atmosphere), I’d send them to Brush’s.“

“I love coming to this deli. Sonia always greets me when I walk through the door and remembering what I love to have the Taylor ham egg and cheese on a roll nothing on it. I went enough times to adj for just my usual and it's so respectful and enjoyable to hear them remember you and what you love to eat. The prices have kept inching up over the months, but I loved coming here now and then to keep enjoying my favorite sandwiches and supporting this friendly and wonderful business. “Love this little Gem of a place. I walked in here by accident just thinking I would get a quick drink. I saw they had food and ordered a sloppy Joe. It was delicious. I thought I smelled Indian food and the owner said he made it fresh. I tried the paneer and tandoori chicken rice bowl and was absolutely floored by how good it was. I also didn’t expect to see higher end liquor on the shelf and a great wine selection. Definitely a spot to try for Indian food or regular deli type food.“

I’m always the first to complain about poor food and service, but I’ve been to S. Clinton Ave. deli several times and they are always friendly and the service is quick!! “This place has great cleaning habits between sandwiches. I ordered 1 sandwiches with meat and 1 without meat. They waited to slice all the meat for the meat sandwich then took the time to clean the meat & cheese slicer before slicing the cheese for the non neat sandwich. For me personally, I would've been ok with my cheese touching the area meat was on, but I think it's very thoughtful, clean, and respectful to clean in-between. I appreciated seeing that.

Vegetarian options: As far as I saw, there's only one non meat sandwich on the menu, although It's a build your own kind of place so I'm sure you can create any # of cheese and produce options

Parking: The front door is on a sidewalk, the parking is only on the right of the building which looks like parking for a separate business, however there are many small businesses in the same larger building so the parking is there for all of the businesses in that building.

Kid-friendliness: I've seen kids in there. It's a sandwich shop so it's family friendly. I've not been to a sandwich shop that didn't allow kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: The front door is on the same level with the sidewalk to the front door. The inside is very open and spacious.“
