“Just found this little gem of a place. Got the grilled chicken sandwich. It was really good. Plus they have poppi soda which is always a plus. I wish they offered bread options with the sandwiches instead of just rolls. My sandwich on sourdough would have been perfect. Great place. I will be ordering a lot from here“

It is tremendous to see a small business that puts their money where thier mouth is in giving back to their community. “Been going here for years. Me and my wife's go to breakfast spot. Food comes out fast and fresh. She always has the chilaquiles and I always have the western omelet. Same great attentive staff for years and even the cook will greet us when we get in. You won't be disappointed.“

“the complimentary wifi is always welcomed when patronizing any establishment. as a first time visit to this location, it was very bright and open. i got a pick two for lunch and was asked abt my beverage but not if i wanted bread or an apple. perhaps they didn't have apples. idk🤷🏽♀️the bread i didn't eat bc i already had bread for my sandwich. i would have been nice to be asked my choices. the same way Ashley asked abt my beverage choice. it's always nice to be asked.“

“This place really surprised me! I just stopped in for a cup of coffee but spotted a large, heavy box of assorted brownies, blondies, and brookies, perfect for a party I was on my way to. And it really was perfect, a total hit! I had a brookie and it was amazing, so soft and delicious! I feel so lucky to have tripped across such a wonderful dessert box! Everyone loved it!“

“I am so happy to have found such a great place to grab lunch at! They offer so many gluten free options and also understand allergies which is amazing! I work in the area and I was so hungry and wanted something easy. So I went in and got a Greek hummus wrap on GF wrap. It was amazing! I also learned they do catering and all gluten free as well. I can’t wait to go back! The wrap I had was super delicious and fresh. I can’t wait to try more food from here!

“When you get iced coffee they offer regular ice or a coffee ball. It’s a ball of frozen coffee so it doesn’t water down your drink as it melts. It was good. I also had a pumpkin muffin. It would be nice if there was a mocha on the menu though.“

“This spot is a gem! Hands down some of the best home-made breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in ages. If you’re looking for servers and a pro kitchen, this is not the spot for you. If the idea of a bangin’ home cook serving up breakfast sandwiches through a little side hustle out of her kitchen appeals to you, this is highly recommended.The pork roll egg and cheese and bacon egg and cheese were both favorites of my girlfriend and I.Be advised: cash only and if it’s busy you may have to wait. It’s a one person operation but it’s worth it. There are a few tables outside but this is really more of a grab and go place.“

“We have driven passed Capsized Cafe many times, without turning in. Talk about missing the boat! We were looking for a fresh take on breakfast, out, and when we did the Google thing...up popped this eatery.Read many of the glowing reviews and headed over to try it for ourselves. Glad we did. Coupled with great food and super pleasant staff, the atmosphere has that 1950s and '60s eclectic shore coolness.Go there! If not today then go soon.“
“I believe this is Salty's Ice Cream. If so, best ice cream in the Lavallette area! The prices are MUCH more reasonable than everyone else around and you get a HUGE serving. The Cappuccino Crunch ice cream is one of the best ice creams I have ever had!“

“I tried the food for the first time today. My son and his friends have been eating there for a while now and have asked me to try it out. I own a local business on Mantoloking rd and like to spend money locally as well. I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the portion size was great. The waitress was great and the prices were great. As one person posted, I am getting tired of the same old places so trying this was a good idea. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try something new.“
