“Sullaluna is one of our favorite spots in New York for everything from a quick drink on a sunny day to lunch or dinner where we always prioritize an order (or two) of the meatballs. It was only natural for this to be the perfect spot to host my 30th birthday for a group of almost 25 of us. Everyone was in love with the private setting downstairs, and the food was, as always, the star of the show. Thank you to our friends, Giulia and team.“

“Ella Funt is a delight! Cool vibe from the moment you walk in — excellent mood lighting and beautiful art across the walls. A lot of it is a bit risque, but I loved it. And the bathroom on the left is painted entirely in gold, which is so funny and so fitting.

Cocktails are spot on. The Lower Manhattan is a solid non-ABV choice, and the Lemon Martini does the trick if you're in the mood for a gin martini — strong but not too hard. Wine by the glass is well-priced for NYC. Food-wise, it was good but not great. We had the tuna crudo, steak tartare, tomato salad, trout with celery root puree, and the steak au poivre. The tuna crudo was a great start, but the meal kind of plateaued from there. The steak au poivre was just too saucy and peppery — I like au poivre, but this was too much. Overall a decent experience with good value, coming in under $100 per person with tip. Just don't come primarily for the food.“

“10/10 for Dudley's, food was amazing, we had the whipped ricotta and calamari to start and then shared the cheese burger, it was all delicious and a perfect amount of food for two ladies. The servers were attentive. Bar staff was great and cocktails are good. The tables are close to each other but that's to be expected. There is one restroom for men and women but there was no wait and the restaurant was full. Great experience, would go again“

“Edwin was amazing the second we walked in. He was helpful and I will always be impressed by anyone who can memorize food orders. The nachos are amazing and the steak was perfect on top. Next time I’m asking for more guac cause that stuff was amazing. I had the pork special and it was out of this world. The sauce was creamy with the perfect spicy ending and the chop was huge and cooked perfect. The music was classical so it made the date night perfect. BYOB so bring ur own wine. There is a store across the street tho so dw.“

“We had an amazing meal at Bistrot Ha! This was maybe the fourth time I’ve eaten their food, between their sister restaurant Ha’s Snack Bar and Bistrot, and have always been blown away. Every time the dishes are not only delicious but interesting and exciting, and the setting has been consistently fun and lively. I like the attention to details in art, plating and playlist. Every dish is packed with flavor, but the favorite part of my meal were the desserts that ended our night with such a great send off. Desserts change often and can’t wait to come back and see what new thing they have on the board. Definitely two of my favorite restaurants in the city.“

“A great little spot tucked away in Newark with fantastic sandwiches they way you want I often take there delicious menu and put twists like a cornbread Swiss melted sandwich which with bacon egg and definitely more Swiss if you want something that melts in your mouth and is served hot and Fresh it’s truly a one stop shop! AND because I needed to believe in their happy hour oysters being good. They weren’t just good…they were grand, glorious, slurpy, briny bites of joy! We devoured them. Drinks were an excellent foil to them for us too. Dinner orders delivered even more plate passing, fork stabbing expressions of delight. Steak was perfectly cooked per the order, as was the salmon. The fresh pasta was tender yet toothsome and melted in your mouth. The ragu on top was well seasoned and full of lamb. Everyone was quite full and the dessert offerings were too wonderful sounding to pass up.. and wonderful they were! Flourless chocolate cake that was rich enough to buy its own home in Manhattan and the fruited cake with a pile of whipped cream made us wonder if we could buy the whole thing and have some again in the morning with coffee. Mila’s delivered on all fronts and we were ecstatic. Go.. especially when you can enjoy happy hour…go even if you can’t do happy hour, you’ll be glad you did.“

It was just a nice, calm place to have breakfast since there wasn't much open right there on Sunday morning. The staff was very friendly. I had scrambled eggs with applewood smoked bacon, potatoes and toast, and my husband had the breakfast burrito, which came with fresh fruit.“
