“Had lunch today at Houlihans. I haven't been here in a while, so I wanted to treat myself by eating at my favorite restaurant.
And my 3 favorite servers now work in the morning: Mackenzie, Brooke & Jenna.
I had the early bird dinner special: chicken parmesan with a salad and dessert for $17.99. it's a good deal because they chicken parmesan by itself is regularly $17.99.

My server Mackenzie was great: polite, attentive, and fast. As are all of the servers here.

“Such an amazing place to stop and grab some great food. We stopped here on a road trip headed south and ended up meeting Steve, the owner and chef, and had a great conversation with him! “Being from New Orleans where there is a large Vietnamese population and swift competition between pho restaurants, I am often very disappointed by outside Vietnamese spots... I usually don't even bother trying anymore...

...Well, I am CERTAINLY glad that I placed a take out order from Pho Tastic! I am both surprised and excited to have found a NJ-based place with food that could compete with my old favorites back home.

Now, I've only been here once so far, but my take out experience was great. The server was wonderful and very warm. And although I really did not get a great look at much of the restaurant, I was not put off by what I saw. But most importantly, the food was well prepared and packaged, and the flavors were wonderful.

I will return here soon, and I sincerely hope to make Pho Tastic one of my regular spots! :)“

“Came here for a quick, Sunday homestyle breakfast and was not disappointed at all. The atmosphere is unique, to say the least, but also gives a lot to start conversations amongst the table. Serving portions were superb and food was very tasty. I have seen other comments and reviews that were very negative and nasty, but everybody can have a bad day once in a while. They were complaining on the service and owner/waiter being rude and yelling. I've seen more positive ratings than negative ones. While not everybody has the same humor, people can definitely be some Debbie downers. All in all, we had a nice experience and enjoyed the food. Ihop who?? Lol will def be back!!!“

The crust does not explode in your mouth like a bunch of tiny little splinters, it's softer and doughy. The ingredients and cheese are not skimped out on either, they are fresh ingredients and plentiful at that. The only thing I would change is more sauce, but I can do that myself next order on my own. Leftovers microwaved is a no go but air fried it's just like it came out of the oven all over again. In a Jersey full of Luigi's, pick Marios, you won't be disappointed. I suggest adding the wings into your order as well, best take out wings I've had from a pizza shop, super crispy breading and juicy interior.“

The staff was friendly. They timed our courses well. The food was cooked the way we ordered it and had a good flavor. They are generous with their portions. They offer lunch specials during the week. We will definitely eat there again. The Restaurant is on a major East/West road and is close to the Garden State Parkway. There is a Hilton Hotel next door so on Weekends in the Summer it can get crowded. So it is better to make reservations. We went midweek about a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes after they opened and it was not crowded. It was getting busy by the time we left.

Parking: The restaurant has plenty of parking around the building. They have handicapped parking spaces on the side of the building.“
