“I like this bar a lot because it's close to where I live. Very friendly staff, clean bathrooms and good happy hour specials. 5 jumbo wings for 5 bucks. They were pretty good too. And DJ Moist absolutely kills it on Friday nights with the old school hip hop and rnb. And best of all, it's right near one of the best taco trucks in ktown. Thank you for the good times, 1933 Room.“

“Just spent St. Patrick's Day here. Live music, step dancers, amazing bag pipes, incredible food and a great price. They really shamrocked it this year. Our waiter was outstanding too!“
“My corporate office is close by so I have been here several times over the past few years. As of this week they rolled out a new menu and I was definitely impressed. The selections are more varied and the quality also seems to have improved. I will say the staff and drinks have always been top notch, so no improvement needed there. Happy to see the menu change and save myself some DoorDash fees on my future trips!
PS - make sure you see Micael (Mickey) if you come!“

“The Royal is a bit like walking back in time. Place hasn't changed much over the years. It was old 30+ years ago, except now there's friendlier feeling. Could have something to do with the girls. They're all very friendly and happy. I used to go there for lunch way back in the day (like 30+ way backs) when we worked on Saturdays. Back then you had to walk over to the dinner side to order what you wanted for lunch and they would bring it over to the bar side. Started going again a year or 2 ago for dinner on Saturdays with my bride.. They even know what drinks we're we want now when we walk in. Speaking of walking in. Don't be put off if all the seats are taken. There's plenty of tables in the back. All in all a great little no frills bar.“

Westbrook Bar in Bound Brook is hands down one of the best spots in the area! The atmosphere is laid-back but lively, making it perfect whether you’re grabbing a quick drink after work or spending the evening out with friends. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive — they make you feel like a regular, even on your first visit.
Drinks are strong, well-priced, and there’s always a good selection of beers and cocktails. The music and vibe are on point, Westbrook always delivers a great experience. Highly recommend checking it out!“

“I had my husband 60th birthday party in the Banquet Room. Giving the BIGGEST shout out Jen, Spencer and John who made it the best party ever. Walked me through every step from planning, ordering and choosing the right menu. It was the greatest party by far that we ever had. Bigger shout out to the bartender Julia and hostess Gabby. They are truly the best we ever had. The food was delicious and plates never empty. The party was a great success thanks to all at Alfonso's. Highly recommended. All you have to do is show up and they handle everything. Everyone who attended all commented how great of a party it was. I was so proud to have chosen Alfonso's. Thank you all!!!!!“

“We have eaten there several times and it is always delicious. We want to give special appreciation to Rachel, your manager, for her special caring and sensitivity to our needs. In today's world, where one struggles, especially if old like we are, to speak to a live human being, when you are able to converse with a person who is actually listening to what you said, this is rare. Add to that delicious fresh food and you have a winner. Tonight we had fresh large shrimps with a most delicious home made cocktail sauce. Fresh crab cakes with a fabulous remoulade, and a chocolate mousse to die for as dessert. We ordered too much and have to save some for tomorrow. We live in town, and are happy to see the names of so many out of town visitors appreciate Chesapeake Tavern.“

“Fantastic couple who owns and operates the restaurant. Love the base red sauce flavor, warning though that it’s on the sweeter side.
Great pizza. Wife loves the penne vodka.
They also make Italian desserts for the holidays for takeout sale.“
“So sad that when my sisters wedding was canceled on BY THE RYLAND INN cause of covid and rescheduled and only had the options of a couple Sundays even though they PAID for a SATURDAY the would NOT switch the price or give her a SATURDAY like they PAID for...shame on you ryland inn awful buisness practice“

“We go to The Rail every so often, usually on Tuesdays for T-Bone Tuesday. The steak itself is good, but lately they’ve had a hard time getting the temperature right. We ordered it rare on our last visit and it came out closer to medium.
The mashed potatoes are delicious, and the salads are always fresh. The drinks are good as well. We prefer sitting at the bar, but it’s small, so sometimes we end up at a high-top instead.
Overall, it’s a solid spot with good food, and we just hope the steak temperatures become more consistent.“

“We had about a dozen people in our party (yes, reservations were made), and the service couldn’t have been any better.
As far as food goes, all was good. A bunch of apps for the table and everyone selected stuff from all over the menu and the reports were all positive. I had bangers and mash and it was superb. Two others also had bangers and mash and loved it. I really don’t remember what the others had but as said before from all over the menu.
Food was wonderful as was the service.“
