“Great food with great service from happy people. Our waitress was so nice and attentive to our group. My niece casually mentioned she liked the ice (to chew on) and the waitress somehow overheard this and brought her a glass of ice. When she said she wished she could take it with her the nice lady reappeared with a plastic cup of ice to go. The whole evening was like that, almost like being in a family kitchen.”

“In the past year I used Custodi to cater two parties, a Hawaiian Luau and Texas BBQ. Both times the food was delicious! Chris is so easy to work with and very accommodating with what your needs are. “Listen I don’t really do reviews but let me tell you about this spot right here that I just happened to be passing by. For one the service is amazing as soon as I walked in I was greeted not only by the workers but by the patrons as well. The atmosphere made me feel right at home. Last but certainly not least the food was amazing my omelette was fluffy my bacon was nice and crispy the shredded potatoes were made to perfection and the toast with butter was on point!!! I would really give you guys a 100 out of 10 but there’s no option for that. I am definitely comeback with my wife and kids.”

“I've been craving a good Cuban sandwich and finally stopped at Montunos. The Cuban sandwich was fresh and delicious! They add garlic butter to the sandwich, which enhanced the flavor. The pernil is well-seasoned, moist, and tender. I would definitely go back just for this sandwich. My husband had fried chicken from the buffet with yuca con mojo and tostones. My only minor suggestion would be to offer a mojo with the tostones, but aside from that, the food and service were excellent.”

“It had been a little bit since we've been in (life gets in the way sometimes) but as soon as my husband & I walked in the door we were hit with that heavenly Blimpies scent of fresh ingredients that is indicative of Blimpies & Blimpies alone. It just smells like delicious subs. We realized, after speaking to the wonderful owner, that we've been getting the BEST subs in the world at this location for over 40 years! My pick is a "Blimpies Best" (extra oil & vinegar) honestly it was perfect. My husband gets a turkey & provolone which was terrific (he gave me puppy dog eyes & got a huge chunk of mine too)
Eateries come & go but the best stay, this is worthy of place in your rotation.
I should also say that I live in Nutley with quite a few Italian delis & pizzerias so if I'm saying the Italian sub (Blimpies Best) is terrific that's saying a lot.”

“I was happy to give this new ghost kitchen a try. The concept of the restaurant is it's mainly a delivery spot with an option to pick up and take out. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and saw the area where you could go to the screen and order or order ahead and scan, and the locker will pop open or order through one of the delivery places like Uber eats. I ordered a bunch of things, including the chicken platter and the chicken dumplings. Everything was done in about 15 minutes. I dug in when I got home. Everything looked tasty! My favorite dishes were the loaded fries and the chicken dumplings. I really enjoyed this unique experience.”

“I had such a great experience at Columbia BBQ Restaurant & Bar! I stopped in during my lunch break and everything was absolutely delicious.

I ordered the shrimp in garlic sauce, which was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. It came with yellow rice, pinto beans, and fresh avocado, and the whole plate was seasoned just right — comforting, filling, and fresh. I also had a passion fruit margarita with sugar on the rim, and it was AMAZING — sweet, tropical, and super refreshing.

My friend had the beef steak with onions, also served with yellow rice, pinto beans, and avocado, and he loved it. The steak was tender and well-seasoned. He paired it with a gin and tonic, which was made perfectly.

What really made the visit special was the owner, who personally served us. She was so friendly and attentive, and you could tell she really cares about her customers and the food.

“The other day I got, Goody Restaurant, for lunch. I had ordered their Maryland Style Shrimp w/ Black Bean Rice & their Shrimp Yat Gaw Mein Soup to wash it down. It was so damn good! The Shrimp Yat Gaw Mein Soup was phenomenal. Excellent flavor, great shrimp to veggies ratio, and the noodles were fantastic. Absolutely loved the Shrimp Yat Gaw Mein Soup! The Maryland Style Shrimp w/ Black Bean Rice was pretty decent as well too. Honestly did not like the Black Bean Rice. It tasted as though it’s not ordered often and shows. The Maryland Style Shrimp on the other hand was pretty damn good. It’s lightly breaded and fried shrimp with seafood seasoning. It also comes with a dipping sauce, which my guess would be an Italian Dressing with Asian spices and herbs added to it. The sauce was an excellent compliment to the Maryland Style Shrimp! The lady who took my order was kind and very attentive. She even made sure my order was correct by making sure to add chopsticks to my order! I’d HIGHLY recommend, Goody Restaurant, to anyone in the Newark/Belleville area looking for some excellent Chinese Food. Stay away from the Black Bean Rice, but the Maryland Style Shrimp & the Shrimp Yat Gaw Mein Soup is a MUST TRY!”
