“There is nothing about this place that is inviting from the outside. The tinted front windows are more at place in a bordello than a cafe. The tables outside are a mess. And once you get inside it’s not much better.

That said, the young woman working the counter on the Saturday I went there with my family was beyond delightful, patient and professional. Not only did she welcome each customer, not only did she graciously take orders, she actually would bring said orders to the customers at their tables. Really, she could have just called out names, but she went the extra mile. The food was great and quite affordable too. The combination of the two brings in loyal locals, one after another, all waiting patiently in line.

One major downer: There is only one (short order) cook and there really needs to be at least two. The wait is way too long. The owner needs to step up and find another cook. It’s not fair to customers nor to staff.

All in all, however, a great experience.“

“The steak tacos are my favorite; I prefer the traditional over the American style. The bacon egg and cheese is good too. One of the better places in the Kingsbridge area to get a quick bite to eat. Only downside is how small it is. It's mostly a strictly to-go small restaurant with enough room for 3 to 4 people at a time inside. The people who work there are very nice and they serve food quick and efficient.“

“What a little hidden gem! From out of town, I needed a quick breakfast bite. Randomly found this place on Google. First off, their ice coffee uses ice coffee cubes?!? Good coffee with the same good coffee ice was such a pleasant surprise. For that alone, I will come back for their ice coffees when I'm back in the area.. Egg/potatoes were also good. Their potatoes were perfect with just the right amount amount green and red pepper accenting each bite. Next time when I'm not running off, I'd like to sit outside at their bistro table in front.“

But it helps with my gym workouts that I've started. Also the people are kind and social. So its never boring. “Total vibe before the Yankees game. We were in our St Louis Cardinals matching jerseys for our 5 yr anniversary. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. The twins were really nice and their bouncer, server, host added so much entertainment and a genuine touch.

The food recommendation, and I quote: 'look im Greek, so I know everything taste great". With that we order two beef gyros and two Bloody Marys *spicy*. The gyro was the best open faced sandwich I have ever tasted. The Bloody Mary did not disappoint, great flavor and wonderfully spicy.

If we ever have a chance to go to another Yankees game. We will be back.“

“This restaurant is literally the best kept secret of upper Manhattan! I’m a picky eater and every time I go, I try something new and it blows my mind how good it is. Last time I went I had the squid ink pasta with shrimp and it’s literally the best pasta I’ve had in my life, I hope they put it on the menu permanently and bring back the gazpacho, two meals to die for! Although they are on grubhub the radius of delivery is minimal I wish they were accessible through uber eats I would order every other day. “I love this place. It's difficult these days to find a local bagel store that makes their bagels in house.On my last trip, was the first time I was disappointed. I always order well done bagels and ask for the darkest bagel. Last time, there were perfect, dark everything bagels right on top, and the girl went out of her way to dig through them and pull out a bagel as light as white bread, that I wasn't shown. My meal was less enjoyable this time when I got home.“

“We all know ihop makes awesome breakfast. But the service here is what keeps the retention going! As soon as we walked in, we were immediately seated. Our server took our orders while also making suggestions of her own personal favorites. The facility was very clean, carpets were vacuumed, tables wiped down, the silverware were clean, etc. Parking here wasn’t a problem. This is definitely my go-to for breakfast when I’m in the mood for some ihop! Guys keep up the great work! Your hard work does not go unnoticed!
