“I had such a wonderful experience here! From the moment you walk through the door, you're welcomed with a warm greeting and seated with menus right away. The atmosphere was calm and inviting when we arrived, and by the time we left, the restaurant had filled up, which says a lot.

The food came out fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the steak platter with scrambled eggs, home fries, and grilled onions, and every bite was flavorful without feeling heavy. I paired it with a caramel latte, and it was the perfect addition to the meal.

One thing I'm especially excited about is their weekend menu, which is available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It looks amazing, so I'll definitely be coming back to try it.

Parking is available on the street, and it wasn't difficult to find a spot. Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience with great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly service. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!“

“I walked into IHOP expecting a normal breakfast, but I was NOT prepared for Bernard.

Bernard wasn’t just my server. He was a legend.

I ordered pancakes, and when they arrived, the restaurant fell silent. The pancakes were perfect. But then—DISASTER.

THE SYRUP WAS EMPTY.

I looked at Bernard. Bernard looked at me.

Without saying a word, he marched toward the syrup station like a warrior entering battle. Moments later, he returned with a fresh bottle.

The crisis was over.

As I finished my meal, I realized the truth: Bernard wasn’t an ordinary server.

He was the Guardian of IHOP.

“I was in the area, and did my research about this spot when I saw it next to the Dunkin. Man, this was the best decision I made coming in here! As you can see the pictures, the food is not only presentable but also delicious. I had their signature latte and also the Shakshuka, which is a perfect blend of eggs, tomatoes, and as well as feta cheese! They also serve you with water at the table with a taste of mint which is awesome! Come and you won’t be disappointed with the rest of the menu!“

My pancakes were were close to perfection.
Bacon 🥓 was a slightly under cooked for compared to the way I like it at home.

“Really good local place. Met up with 2 friends for breakfast a week ago. We grew up in the area, use to visit Bennys 45 years ago when it was more of a convenience store. Today’s Bennys is really well done. Service was great, waitress was extremely nice, friendly throughout our time there. Food was spot on, omlettes, salad, and biscuits with gravy, 2 eggs over easy could not have been better. Prices a little steep, but that’s par for the course these days. Anyway, highly recommend“

“I eat breakfast here about 3-4x a week and the food is good. My only issue is that on Aug 12 2025 I ordered my usually breakfast sandwiches and instead of telling me they ran out of eggs they sold me the sandwiches at full price and yea beef bacon cheese on a roll with jelly does not hit the same without eggs. I didn't hold it against them and I came in today Aug 13 and me not even asking for anything free or any favors started to inform the woman at the counter what happened and she just cut me off mid sentence and asked for my order she clearly did not care. I left it alone and this was my favorite breakfast spot but today will be the last time I give them my business. The food is great tho.“

“Really cute place with plenty of clean tables. Staff is nice and friendly and even brought my bagel over to me. A little expensive, I had an everything cheese egg and chorizo for $9. The chorizo is extra cost but very good, adds a nice zing and crisp to it. The everything bagel is also very flavorful. Best bagel I’ve had in Bayonne.“

“I stopped by outside of normal business hours and wasn't able to make a purchase, but the manager took the time to speak with me and went out of his way to help after learning I had traveled a long distance. The kindness and genuine care for customers really stood out. It's rare to meet people who are this welcoming and thoughtful. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area. “We got an Airbnb arpund the Corner and wanted an authentic breakfast.
The Lady who Served was Kind and explained everything to us and was patient.
Food was good, Portion sizes alot bigger than expected, although the Pancakes could have used some syrup imo.
Still a recommendation, even though it's a busy place, it adds to the Charme for Sure.
