“My experience began as soon as we arrived. we were kindly greeted and assisted by 2 hostesses . Then we were sat within seconds & once we settled in, the waiter took our drinks and appetizers. Throughout our dine, the waiter and team rushed to our needs. Overall a great experience. I will be returning. Thank you“
“I've ordered large orders of food twice from this place to be delivered at my son's school, Bierman Autism Center and they've done a great job thus far. Occasionally, I order individual plates too and everything has been delicious!“
“This is a reliable establishment. We placed an order for my 3-year-old son's party. On the phone call, the staff member patiently waited while I made decisions about how many pies to order, and the snacks that I decided to add on. Food was good and, most importantly, it was ready at the time that we requested pickup. I personally enjoyed the cinnamon bread that you can dip in icing.“
“We came here on Thursday evening for a quick dinner, it’s a sizable but cozy Italian restaurant, with variety of pizza and pasta choices. The pizza is great and come quick, not like other Italian restaurant where we were waiting over 45 min. The pizza is crispy and coming with dried tomato and heavy cheese. We also ordered Filetto Francese, company with vegetables, the gravy is a bit salty, but we still enjoy it. The service is excellent, the waiter is very caring and asked frequently if we need anything. We will definitely come back! BTW, the price is very affordable:)“
“Very nice place, very easy going, the owner puts you at ease straight away, and it's like having dinner at a friends house, I recommend it to everyone because the food is very good. The quality of the food is high.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“I don’t usually write reviews but this place was too good not to show appreciation for!Amazing service! The atmosphere was a welcoming small Italian kitchen feel with a dining room with warm lighting! They also have a nice back patio if you prefer to sit outside.I ordered a a Classic Caesar Salad with the 8oz strip steak on top. The salad was so flavorful and one of the best I’ve had in a long time! The steak was cooked medium rare and cooked to perfection!I will definitely be returning!Absolutely delicious!“
“I loved the old Bonvini's, when I was a kid. I am so happy they returned. The pizza is still the best around! I love the sauce and thin crust. I drive from Denville to Livingston at least twice a week and the trip is well worth it. The owners are so nice and they truly care about their customers!“
“Portions were big, which made me fill up a lot! Crust was a mixture of soft and crunchy, which just added to the delight. This has to be one of my personal favorites in Metuchen.Wheelchair accessibility: Able to access because in the plaza there are no elevations“
“Took a chance on this place when we were ordering pizza. I've ordered from many other places and I've found some good some bad and some that are run of the mill aka nothing to write home about. O Sole Mio knocks it out of the park whether you're getting pizza or pasta. They're sauce is top notch. The crust on their pies are just right. This will be our go to from now on when we want pizza!“
“I came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. She made a reservation for a large round table by the window. When I arrived, I noticed they have two entrances in the front. The door on the right leads to the DiMaio’s Pizzeria section. This is where you can place an order for Pizza, Stromboli, Calzones, Hot and Cold Subs,Pasta Dishes and more for take out only. The door on the left leads to the actual restaurant where you can sit down and be served. This is a BYOB which I love.I was immediately greeted by an our server I believe her name is Paola. She was very friendly and attentive. DiMaio’s has a good amount of tables for dining in.The restaurant itself has a casual, subtle and warm vibe. I found it very relaxing. This place is family friendly, and Wheelchair Friendly. They can also accommodate vegetarians. When you arrive there’s a few spots in the front, 2 handicapped spots, and a few regular spots with remaining parking in the back around the side of building. This restaurant has been around for at least 45 years. It’s has been a staple in the Berkeley Ht’s area. For starters some of us chose their Tomato, Cucumber, and Feta Salad. The rest chose their House Salad with shaved Parmesan on it. Both salads were very good. Hot Rolls with Butter were also put on the table. For my Entree I chose their Rigatoni and Chicken Alla Serafino-Sundried tomato, broccoli, mushrooms, peas. It had a light flavor and subtle components. One of my friends chose their Chicken Valdostana- it was served with mushrooms, prosciutto & Asiago cheese. My friend ate every morsel.Another friend chose for her Entree Chicken Marsala-mushrooms and Marsala wine, she enjoyed it.Another friend chose for her Entree Seafood Marinara-shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, and calamari. Again, everyone enjoyed their meal. The food is good here. We found for the area the food was pricey. Their chicken Francese was $29. The Seafood Marinara was $39. The other thing I found interesting was there was a charge to serve our own birthday cake. $2 per person. We decided to let the birthday girl take it home and enjoy it with her family. We just ordered desserts we picked off their tray. They were delicious , but for the price they were small portions which ranged between $11-$13 apiece. That’s definitely pricey for dessert. They do catering and parties here. I’ve had their pizza, and it’s decent too. They make a good Grandma Pie.Vegetarian options: They do have offer vegetarian optionsParking: They have several handicapped spots in front along with a few regular spots. If full they have parking around the back of the buildingKid-friendliness: Kids mealsWheelchair accessibility: Two handicap spots out front and they’re located on the first floor. I believe you could get a wheelchair in this restaurant.“
