“I came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. She made a reservation for a large round table by the window. When I arrived, I noticed they have two entrances in the front. The door on the right leads to the DiMaio’s Pizzeria section. This is where you can place an order for Pizza, Stromboli, Calzones, Hot and Cold Subs,Pasta Dishes and more for take out only. The door on the left leads to the actual restaurant where you can sit down and be served. This is a BYOB which I love.I was immediately greeted by an our server I believe her name is Paola. She was very friendly and attentive. DiMaio’s has a good amount of tables for dining in.The restaurant itself has a casual, subtle and warm vibe. I found it very relaxing. This place is family friendly, and Wheelchair Friendly. They can also accommodate vegetarians. When you arrive there’s a few spots in the front, 2 handicapped spots, and a few regular spots with remaining parking in the back around the side of building. This restaurant has been around for at least 45 years. It’s has been a staple in the Berkeley Ht’s area. For starters some of us chose their Tomato, Cucumber, and Feta Salad. The rest chose their House Salad with shaved Parmesan on it. Both salads were very good. Hot Rolls with Butter were also put on the table. For my Entree I chose their Rigatoni and Chicken Alla Serafino-Sundried tomato, broccoli, mushrooms, peas. It had a light flavor and subtle components. One of my friends chose their Chicken Valdostana- it was served with mushrooms, prosciutto & Asiago cheese. My friend ate every morsel.Another friend chose for her Entree Chicken Marsala-mushrooms and Marsala wine, she enjoyed it.Another friend chose for her Entree Seafood Marinara-shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, and calamari. Again, everyone enjoyed their meal. The food is good here. We found for the area the food was pricey. Their chicken Francese was $29. The Seafood Marinara was $39. The other thing I found interesting was there was a charge to serve our own birthday cake. $2 per person. We decided to let the birthday girl take it home and enjoy it with her family. We just ordered desserts we picked off their tray. They were delicious , but for the price they were small portions which ranged between $11-$13 apiece. That’s definitely pricey for dessert. They do catering and parties here. I’ve had their pizza, and it’s decent too. They make a good Grandma Pie.Vegetarian options: They do have offer vegetarian optionsParking: They have several handicapped spots in front along with a few regular spots. If full they have parking around the back of the buildingKid-friendliness: Kids mealsWheelchair accessibility: Two handicap spots out front and they’re located on the first floor. I believe you could get a wheelchair in this restaurant.“
“Hats off to the chef. The food was amazing and is hands down the best in the area! Been passing bye for way too long and happy to have found this gem. Everything we ordered was delicious. Chicken parm with vodka sauce was out of bounds. The shrimp parm great, the lemon sole oreganata was perfect and going to order next time. And I never eat fish. Enjoy.“
“Marinos is the best! This is the most consistent restaurant I have ever been to - i have been eating at Marino’s for years (starting at the location in Springfield), and every single meal has been amazing. The owner Mike is very nice, accommodating, and friendly. The atmosphere is great, service is great. The meals here feel like home cooked meals, best restaurant around!!!Dietary restrictions: I have a severe dairy allergy and they always accommodate“
“A neighborhood Italian food spot in a typical strip mall. The outstanding yet small menu leaves nothing out. Tender calamari tossed in balsamic with sweet fennel sausage - Yum! The "Angry Chicken Parm" was super tasty with some medium heat. The Barolo short-rib over risotto was also great. Finish with a cannoli and cheesecake. 10/10“
“I've ordered large orders of food twice from this place to be delivered at my son's school, Bierman Autism Center and they've done a great job thus far. Occasionally, I order individual plates too and everything has been delicious!“
“We came here on Thursday evening for a quick dinner, it’s a sizable but cozy Italian restaurant, with variety of pizza and pasta choices. The pizza is great and come quick, not like other Italian restaurant where we were waiting over 45 min. The pizza is crispy and coming with dried tomato and heavy cheese. We also ordered Filetto Francese, company with vegetables, the gravy is a bit salty, but we still enjoy it. The service is excellent, the waiter is very caring and asked frequently if we need anything. We will definitely come back! BTW, the price is very affordable:)“
“Such a great dinner spot! Came here with a two coworkers and were blown away by the service. Our waiter gave detailed recommendations that turned out to be delicious!! I got the ragú as my main meal and loved it, and the cabbage/shrimp appetizer was what especially surprised us with its flavor. It was a small and quaint spot with only a handful of tables, which created an intimate environment. I came from out of town but if I was local, this would be a go to for me!“
“Walked in, didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. The interiors felt like a high-end restaurant, and the food kept up with it!The covered outdoor space was comfy and classy, with beautiful green art on the walls. The flavors, taste, and texture were really top-notch Italian food I've had. Highly recommended.“
“Very nice place, very easy going, the owner puts you at ease straight away, and it's like having dinner at a friends house, I recommend it to everyone because the food is very good. The quality of the food is high.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“We absolutely love Due 360! Yesterday was our second time visiting and the service alone is impeccable(Luis, thank you for making the night even more special!), but then add to that the delicious food and ambiance makes for a perfect date night. We enjoyed the steak frites, octopus, garlic shrimp, and burrata! And the sangria was a perfect addition to our meal :) We will definitely be back again!“
“First time bringing my baby to a nice restaurant and not only was the table set up with high chair but there was a lot of space for the stroller. they were very accommodating. great service! My baby loved the bread! My family was very happy with the food.“
“I don’t usually write reviews but this place was too good not to show appreciation for!Amazing service! The atmosphere was a welcoming small Italian kitchen feel with a dining room with warm lighting! They also have a nice back patio if you prefer to sit outside.I ordered a a Classic Caesar Salad with the 8oz strip steak on top. The salad was so flavorful and one of the best I’ve had in a long time! The steak was cooked medium rare and cooked to perfection!I will definitely be returning!Absolutely delicious!“
“When I arrived with my 4 year old daughter, I realized this restaurant may be a little more formal than we expected and not a place that served many kids. However, our experience was wonderful, and I can’t wait to go back. The staff treated my daughter so nicely & made her feel welcome, the food was delicious, they had a nice wine list, and a lot of care went into every detail. This is how a restaurant should be. Everything we ordered was tasty & well prepared, we had a nice swordfish appetizer and whole branzino that was filleted table side. I am looking forward to going back & trying more of their menu items.“
“We took my mom for her 82nd birthday last night. I can't say enough about this restaurant. The food is beyond amazing. Real authentic homeade Italian food you don't find at too many places. The Chef/Owner came out to say hello and meet us. Such a nice and humble guy. The manager and waitress couldn't be nicer. I highly recommend this delicious restaurant. You WILL NOT be disappointed. The BEST around!!!!!!“
“An amazing family style restaurant. The food is what you'd be served at Nonnas on Sunday. The food is amazing. The service, friendly, efficient, incredible. The location, cozy, down to earth, honest.A great place to go if you're hungry.Plates are big.Ingredients are fresh and you can tell that sauce simmered on a stove for some time and didn't come out of a can.Top 3 meals of my life.I can guarantee I will return next time I'm in this corner of the world. Please check this jewel of a restaurant out.“
“I've been looking for a local, full service coffee shop that roasts their own beans, sells coffee/espresso, as well as offers breakfast and lunch.**This IS that place**I couldn't tell from their website, but the posts I saw on insta showed that they serve food, and I'm happy to report that it tastes as good as it looks!Very friendly staff and accommodating. Although it's currently the middle of December, I wanted a macchiato over ice, which wasn't on their menu, but when I asked they happily said 'of course'.Seems like I'm going to have to sign up for their points system because I can tell I'm going to be back here a whole lot more.I'm particularly interested in sampling their beans, just wish i didn't have to buy an entire bag of beans. Why don't these local roasters sell sample packs, allowing you to still purchase a pound of beans, but separated into small batches with samples of each bean type? This would allow me to quickly figure out which bean I want to try without having to buy a single large bag and take a month to go through coffee I don't really like before trying the next type . . . Or maybe i should start roasting my own beans and do this method . . .Anyways, I really like the space they have, they've really made the most of it, very cozy and inviting. Can't wait to go back“
“The food is great! So are the reviews Design your own pasta dish -- sauce, pasta, protein, vegetable Home made ingredients, well-flavored, excellent chef from Naples. Very nice deserts too Don't be fooled by strip mall location. Just go!“
“The best food I've had in a very long time. The service was impeccable. Will definitely come back again and bring friends. Everything was outstanding from the moment you walked in the door, until you walked out the door. Thank you for a evening of great food and atmosphere.“
“Gave 5 only because 6 wasn’t an option. Tried a cheesesteak… massive amount of food and the flavor was off the charts. My wife got tuna sub and she was raving about it (and she is a picky eater). Kids devoured the raviolis. I cannot wait to go back. All the sandwiches looked incredible. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH CENTRAL JERSEY AND MISS OUT ON THIS PLACE!!!!!!“
“This is one our favorite places to go. What makes it so special is the people that take care of you!..After you have been there a couple of times you are treated like family laughing and talking with everybody including the owners. Oh ya and food is awsome!“
“Absolutely love Pizza Da Napoli! The pizza is excellent - deliciously thin crust, amazing sauce/cheese, and the gourmet pizza options are top notion. Great salads too! Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Great toppings for vegetarians, plenty of veggie options on menu.“
“I attended a friend's baby shower here about 6 months ago. Based on the food at the shower, I had been meaning to come back here for dinner. I came with my family this past weekend for Easter, and it was fantastic. Bill was our server. The service, the drinks, and the meal from beginning to end exceeded our expectations. You have found yourself some new regulars. Thank you for a wonderful family evening out.“
“Came here on Pi day 3/14 for a large plain pie and a grandma’s pie. The plain pie is 11.00 and the grandmas was a little higher. The style is thin crust and does not disappoint. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and nice to talk to while we waited. The sauce is sweet but not overly sweet and the grandma pie was super tasty. I will be back.“
“This is a place we want to even during the pandemic, when there was hardly anyone there. Food is excellent, prefix menu before 6 pm is wonderful. It is small, like someone's living room. which is intimate, but you are delegated to a small table when you made reservations for two.. The tables that are for two are so close you hear every conservation and hardly room for your food. I asked if we could have a table for four when we went in at 5:30. Waiter said we could not have a table for four because there were others coming in with 4 .. After we were eating I saw a couple come in and they had a table for 4 but only two of them...Could it be they called the waiter by name? made me feel that all patrons are not created equal....obviously we were not. Good for 3-4 but not two. I asked if we came in at 4 pm, could we have a table for 4 and out by 5.....no was the answer. I am thinking twice about going again...I am not part of the in crowd obviously,“
“What is not to like about this place?Warning: if you have a shopping list or have an idea of what you are planning to buy, try to stick with it. Otherwise, you will end up buying much more ?Their meatballs are so good that they don't last more than a day.Their sandwiches are great as well and with one you even have enough for 2 meals. The only item that is not my favorite is their mozzarella cheese, which I find too salty. But if you mix it with mushrooms you can make great quesadillas.“
“Just went there for the first time with my family. I won’t share pics because there’s non food left on the plates after we got one bite ?If you’re looking for Italian authentic food this place is for you! I love Italian food but OMG what Silvio, the owner, did with special salad, its addiction! My husband doesn’t eat salads but he was soo impressed , he told me at the end, we need to come more often just to have salad in particular. I ordered Spagetti Carbonara, the best one I’ve ever had in my life! My husband LOVED desert and espresso with ice cream, I finished with cappuccino which btw was absolutely incredible! Everything should get 10,000 stars not 5! Service, food, atmosphere are 10/10! As the hack, you should try it on the weekdays when it’s more quiet and you can get some specials from the owner!“
“My experience tonight has reclaimed my love for Nola pizza. I’ve never questioned how amazing the pizza was, it was more when they first opened the wait was outrageously long and often was not ready after the two and a half hour wait. It was because of that I haven’t been back until tonight. Expecting the wait would still be long for a Sunday, called around 5:30 and given a pickup time of 6:45, significantly improved! My order was JUST taken out of the oven when I walked in at 6:45 and to no surprise, the pizza was divine. Got the Diavolo with vodka instead of spicy and it was just perfection. I can’t wait to be back, just need to be mindful of when I want to eat and when to order.“
“One of the best pizza’s I have had in New Jersey. It’s flavorful, thin, crispy and made fresh to order everytime. The owner takes pride in making sure every pizza that comes out the oven is made to perfection for all of his customers. Great spot for a quick lunch or a nice family dinner!Vegetarian options: Has many vegetarian options and if not, the chef can customize to fit your dietary needs“
“Easily my favorite gourmet deli in union county. It’s dangerous to come here when you’re hungry. The sandwiches are the best in the area, and the prepared foods are excellent as well. The service is unequaled, and to top it all off, the prices are no more expensive than many other places with inferior products. I’ve sworn off all other delis.“
“Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a private event at Pucciarello's, an establishment that truly surpassed all expectations. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the stage for what was to become an unforgettable dining experience. The staff greeted us with warmth and professionalism, ensuring that every aspect of our evening was nothing short of perfect. The food at Pucciarello's was nothing short of amazing. Each dish that was served seemed to tell a story of its own, with flavors that were both bold and harmonious. The ingredients were clearly fresh, showcasing a commitment to quality that could be tasted in every bite. Whether it was the appetizers, main courses, or desserts, each dish was presented beautifully, marrying visual appeal with culinary excellence.“
“Big C's Cheesesteaks are out of this world. The mushrooms, onion, peppers and cheese complemented the steak so well. Excellent bit of char of mush, onion and peppers for extra flavor. We hired Clemente to cater my birthday based upon a great friend's recommendation... and my man did not disappoint!!!!! Catering - ask for the Pasta Genovese - your mind will be blown. His meatballs and gravy are outta hand. My friend's still talk about his food months later. Not only is Clemente great chef but he is a great person! He preps, and presents....and the best part, he cleans your friggin' kitchen when he's done!! Love your food! Keep it up and you will do great things!“
“Perfect as always when I call up and say I'm going to pick something up they know exactly who I am and usually what I order they're always so friendly when I walk in and the food is great every time if you want good pizza in Roseland and surrounding area this is the place to “
“This pizza place deserves a solid five stars! The pizza is consistently delicious with a perfect balance of crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and quality toppings. The menu offers a variety of creative options alongside classic choices, satisfying every pizza craving. The service is prompt, and the staff is friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Whether dining in or opting for delivery, the pizza arrives hot and fresh. Affordable prices and generous portions make it a go-to spot for pizza lovers. A must-try for anyone seeking a delightful pizza experience!“
“Had a 5:30 reservation for 5 on a Saturday night. Upon our arrival the table was ready and we were seated. This is a B.Y.O.B. establishment, keep that in mind. We ordered appetizers 1, fried calamari 2,fried mozzarella 3, garlic shrimp ?. They were delicious ?. Here is where the 4 starts came in. It took about an hour and a half between the appetizer and main course to come out. It is about the only drawback they have. I enjoyed a 14 ounce filet minion with a side of linguini in vodka sauce. It's outstanding!! Also enjoyed at the table was ravioli, a rack of lamb, pene with bolonaise sauce and a scallop dinner. Everything was enjoyed by all. We will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Plenty of pastaDietary restrictions: All good cooked to order as you likeParking: There is a lot along side the building and in the rearKid-friendliness: A very relaxed atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: Single door on the ground floor. No steps here“
“Yes, I did try Jimmy buffs and it was delicious. I enjoyed it and I will be back again. I had the red hot double dog with the peppers and onions the ketchup, the bread was nice and soft. The potatoes were cut round and circle. I enjoyed it. And I will go back again.“
“Love this place. Food and service have always been top-notch. The service is never rushed, even at a Christmas Eve dinner. Our server Brian is always fantastic, and has even spoken to my sister-in-law in Polish. She's Ukrianian and I think she loves the fact that someone would go to the trouble of speaking to her in a language she's comfortable with. Much appreciated.“
“Authentic Greek food down to the water. Super professional Gyros. Everything was delicious and Fresh. I tried a chicken Gyro and a Lamb Gyro. Both were the best i’ve ever had. The meat was seasoned perfect and tender. Gyros were filled to the max and were very filling with tzatziki sauce, lettuce , tomato , onion and even some French fries. I also had fried Lobster claws with a Remoulade sauce over cabbage slaw which was absolutely phenomenal and a chicken Souvlaki platter which was just as good as everything else. I didn’t make it to dessert but they had plenty of options from salads , Gyros, Greek platters and even flatbreads. I will definitely be back to try other things. Friendly service and lots of seating.“
“I am giving Lucco five stars, but with a caveat. First, their food is outstanding. That's why they deserve the five stars. And I believe most reviews should be based on the merrit of the food and not on "how long someone had to wait" or "all the meals didn't come out at the same time".Anyone who has been here knows that it is SUPER LOUD in there, hence the atmosphere rating. My biggest issue is their takeout. I understand wanting to prioritize the patrons on location at the moment, that's legit money being made right there, however, if they do choose to go that route, they should either stop or pause delivery and togo orders during their "peak" hours. It's frustrating to place an order only to have to wait 30 minutes for it to be "accepted" and then being told it will be another hour before it's delivered. For me personally, no big deal, however, I can see that being very offputting for the majority of the food ordering public. Just my two cents as someone who is now 47 and has been in customer service since I was 14, a good amount of that time in the food industry.“
“Easter Sunday byob, sizeable menu.Best plate I've had in a long while. The appetizers ...mini works of art, done to perfection, just like the ones in the picture, lol.Chicken Murphy Xtra peppers, the cherry peppers kicking it up a couple notches, right where you want it in spiciness, makes you slowdown to catch your breath .The desserts? Forget it I was already stuffed.Old school casual Ironbound open dining area ,chill atmosphere, the kids were wonderful they earned their tips.l would definitely bring a date or good friend here . ByoB .“
“Although the young man playing the piano was very talented and I like that they employed a young person who is willing to work, the venue is too small for entertainment. We almost had the table at the entry door next to the pianist. How would anyone like being seated there...cold and loud. Thankfully we took a table in the back of the restaurant. Food was great and servers were super nice.“
“Once in awhile you come across a business owner who takes enormous pride in their products, and makes them as though they are making it for their own family. I called Cioffi's and got Jerry the owner, who helped make my friend's birthday extra special by honoring my request for a heart-shaped pizza to be delivered to his house on his birthday. Jerry was in on it from the moment I explained what I wanted, as excited and joyful about the surprise as I hoped our friend would be! He was excited about our idea, excited for my friend, and excited to play his part in the whole thing. He even sent me texts as he was preparing it and just before he gave it to the delivery guy. I am so grateful for such a well executed (and delicious!!!!) surprise. Thank you, Jerry!!! Stay YOU!!“
“Big client dinner and I needed to impress. What a fabulous pick for dinner. This is not a big restaurant (which is a plus) and if definitely needs a decor update, but the white tables make it look fine. The best Italian food I've had in a long time. Literally everything was perfect. Seafood apps, pasta, chicken parm to dessert. I would definitely eat here again.“
“Having tried the majority of pizza places in town, Cammaratas is my favorite! I was a little suspicious at first about a pizza place that also has tacos but the al pastor pizza is *chefs kiss*. Thin crust, not floppy, can withhold toppings, great cheese texture. Delicious.“
“Excellent experience! The food was very good and the service excellent. The owner Alfie was a pleasure to talk to, very interested in his customers experience. It was our first time dining there. We enjoyed the Burrata to start, the lobster pasta, veal chop and dessert. All excellent!“
“A delightful dining experience at this BYOB. Probably the friendliest service we’ve encountered. Next door to a wine shop if you forget. Stuffed mushrooms were excellent, earthy with a very nice sauce. Specials of seafood w linguine (clams and crab) and a Parmesan chicken (chicken martini) were excellent. The homemade tiramisu was delicious and fluffy, to melt on the tongue. Excellent dinner. Service was perfectly paced.“
“This HAD to be one of the best pizza I had in a long time. Rumors have it in the pizza world, is you ever wanna try a places best pizza always order a personal pie, that will tell you how they really are. So I ordered a personal Mushroom, Plain and a specialty one. Let me tell you this, IF you like a good crunch pizza..... On every bite.... Good flavor that stands tall..... This is the place to go.... ABSOLUTELY, so far, one of the best around.... This hole in a wall will surprise the s#$& out of you. Next time I will go for a full size pie and tell you how that goes....It will be interesting... I have been in places where I love there personal size and didn't like there full size....and let me add..... It was so good that I ate the personal Mushroom before I got home and I love down the road in Morristown... That's how good this wasI AM TELLING YOU if you like a crunch to your pizza, and you eat the whole slice.... This places personal pie is just for you....The two guys behind the counter was extremely nice... One had to be the owner, a bigger guy great personality and knew his stuff.... And the counter guy was just as nice and eager to help....So I have no dog in this fight.... Did I get lucky, maybe maybe not.... I will go back and order the large and definitely a person for the ride home.... It will be interesting.... But this is a true review.... Thanks to the guys who made the pies....“
“This place is a home run no matter what dish you order. Great service, with an even better product. I’ve had pizza all over the world, but their Margarita pie reminds me of the old country. You can taste the great fresh ingredients, and my son loves it even more than I do. If you haven’t been you must go! I love this place!Kid-friendliness: They treat my kid like the prince that he is. :)“
“I wanted to try a new place for pizza, Benny's had pretty good reviews and I decided to try them. I placed my order for delivery not realizing there was a $5.99 delivery fee which didn't show up until I got the order confirmation. I don't know if the delivery fee was from the establishment or the delivery company Grabull. The Grabull website says " their service is absolutely free, all you pay for is the food & whatever fee's are mentioned for delivery or processing and taxes" I did not see any mention of a delivery fee on Benny's website. Also is the delivery fee a guaranteed tip for the delivery person? If it is that person got a big tip because I added on a tip at checkout. As far as the pizza goes, it was just okay, it certainly was not worth $37.23! It's too bad since Pharmaceutical Reps pays for our lunches we order food several times a week for delivery. We can't go over $17.00 per person delivery fee's cut into that $17.00“
“Stopped here for dinner on a Thursday night after wanting to try it moving to the area. First impression is that it’s dark but somewhat cozy and quiet on the place’s dine-in side. I had the veggie burger with fries and my partner ordered the penne vodka personal pizza. The veggie burger was okay but my favorite part of the meal were the extra crispy fries. I tried some of the penne vodka pizza and it could’ve had a bit more sauce on it. Overall decent dinning experience.Parking: There’s a free parking lot for the plaza.“
“Changing my review because it technically wasn't fair. The decor was very pretty. The waitress was nice and my husband enjoyed his pasta even though it was not as described on the menu. My eggplant was not done well and my lack of finishing it should have raised concern with the waitress. Overall it was a pleasant atmosphere and the wine list was extensive.“
