“I've been a loyal customer of Bacci for about 10 years, and I can confidently say they’ve never let me down. Coming from New Jersey, where we take pride in our high pizza standards, Bacci consistently hits the mark. Their white pie with broccoli is definitely in the running for the best slice I've ever had—even considering living in Hoboken and working all over the five boroughs.

While I primarily stick to their pizza, I’ve tried their dinner entrées a few times, and they were always good. The portions are substantial, making them a great value. Their staff are always welcoming and friendly. Keep up the great work!“

“Reading other reviews, you'll see either 1 star or 5 star reviews on the pizza. I think the new owners are experiencing growing pains and training on new staff. Luckily, we hit it on a 5 star day.
I love pizza. We came in almost at close and there were a few slices of a variety of pizzas. We picked up a grandma, a mixed grilled vegetable, and a mixed sausage slice. All of them were so good. In particular, the mixed grilled veg one; grilled zucchini, peppers, potatoes and etc drizzled in olive oil. I don't think it even had cheese on it. I wish I had taken a picture because I sent my husband to grab me a slice a few days later and he found one with grilled peppers and olives, which was so-so at best. The crust was just the right thickness and just the right kind of oven crisp bottom with a touch of glutinous chewiness.
The staff were nice while closing up the registers and I could hear them training new staff on the procedures. Like any business, there will be growing pains so I understand if any of the previous reviews may critique the food quality and/or service.
But as I started, we had a 5 star experience. The restaurant has a nice family friendly ambiance and it's really large inside, with side rooms for private parties. I'm sure it would be great for large groups and families.
Plenty of free parking and easily wheelchair accessible. Family friendly and plenty of veg options.

“I've had their chicken wings with crack sauce, and it's delicious. Recently tried their new line of pizza, the pepperoni pie and the mixed mushroom pie. Both were yummy. Didn't realize the mixed mushroom didn't have the red sauce though. Still delicious enough. Tasted like fresh ingredients. My only critique is that we ordered online and requested curbside pickup, with a description of the car and person at the passenger seat. We arrived at the curb at the time of pickup and waited, pretty much right outside the window. After another customer went in and picked up his order, we waited 5 more minutes. Finally, passenger went in and told the employee she was there to pick up her order that was placed earlier, and the employee looked her at blankly and said, "no". She said that she was there to pickup an order that was supposed to be delivered curbside. He finally looked at the computer to check and confirmed the name and the pizza boxes (which I could see from my car) was sitting there on the shelf. He handed those to her. So, it was weird he didn't check before telling her she didn't have an order, and that he wasn't really looking out for the car to deliver curbside.“

The small dining room is colorful – eye catching. You go up to the front and order your pasta. You decide what will be added in – mushrooms, capers, tomatoes, chicken, olives and more. And then the chef makes it right in front of you. The owner told me that not everybody watches. They’re missing out. This restaurant is offering dinner and a show. And the cooking here is a performance. You get to see what goes into your food and how it is made. It gives you an additional appreciation for what you are about to savor. All the senses go on alert. You could see it. You could hear it in the pan and you could smell it. If you are anywhere near Union, New Jersey, check out All' Assassina. But do not just order and walk away. Look. Listen. And learn. Not everybody likes to cook. But everyone should like to learn. The more you know about what’s in your food and how it is prepared, the more you’ll appreciate good food. The tastes, the textures. Wow. There was an avalanche of different flavors hitting my mouth all at once. It’s worth a trip. Go for the meal. Stay for the show.“

“When we decided to make a reservation here I was concerned because the parking situation in Madison is difficult. IlGoccino has parking in the rear of the restaurant so it was fine. The staff were warm and welcoming and they honored our reservation on arrival. The food was excellent - the salmon cooked to perfection and the chicken was tender and delicious as well. A contender for the best lasagna I have ever had(and I have eaten at some great places in Manhattan), and the crab cake and shrimp were extraordinary as well. I had the chocolate mousse cake and my fiancee had the tiramisu, both were great for our individual palates. I like intense chocolate flavor, so it was perfect for me. The tiramisu was light and had a great balance of flavor. All in all, we had a great experience. This is a BYOB restaurant, and if I am eating good Italian food, I am drinking a good Chianti Classico.
We had a delightful young lady who was an efficient server.
I had to start with Clams Oreganato, which I do not see in New Orleans. Here, oysters are plentiful and the dish is usually a casserole. Chef Caye makes his version in the same manner we make Oysters Rockefeller or Bienville. Not only was this dish novel and creative, but it was a dish to be savored.
A friend got a perfectly cooked steak, another got the Veal Parmesan, another the Chicken Marsala.
Recently, a local restaurant near my home changed owners, and the cut the best dish on the menu, the Frutti di Mare. I HAD to try Chef Caye’s version, and was not disappointed. This dish is brilliant, mussels, clams, calamari, and shrimp over linguine.
Dinner was nicely paced, and we had plenty of time to make our next appointment.

Without planning it we had a private room where we could celebrate the departure of one of our colleagues. Alana took great care of us and the food was delicious and well executed. Temperatures were perfect on the food too. The zucchini blossoms and homemade gnocchi were the best I’ve had in YEARS. The chef and restaurant team are to be commended. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is nothing short of simply the best. I would highkey recommend trying their freshly house made pizzas, they’re finger licking good as well as their pastas which are chefs kisses. I’m genuinely amazed at how not many people know about this restaurant. The owner is the sweetest woman I’ve ever met, we talked for 15 minutes just about her business it was 2 minutes before they closed and she offered me all of the left over pizza they hadn’t sold that day FOR FREE.
