“My family and I had a wonderful dinner last night at Barrier Island Burgers! The servers, chef and hostess were beyond gracious! Our burgers and Cobb salad were delicious! Can't wait to go back!“

“The cheesesteaks were delicious, but I wished I noticed the disgusting fan that was above the ordering counter before I ate there. The fan is full of so much thick dust that I felt sick after eating there. Makes you wonder if the kitchen is really clean.“

“the staff is amazing, the food is delicious, the prices are cheaper then most of the restaurants in the area, happy hour is 2pm to 6pm, Sunday thru Thursday specials, atmosphere is comfortable and is just a great place to hang with family and friends, eat good and relax. “Came here for a quick, Sunday homestyle breakfast and was not disappointed at all. The atmosphere is unique, to say the least, but also gives a lot to start conversations amongst the table. Serving portions were superb and food was very tasty. I have seen other comments and reviews that were very negative and nasty, but everybody can have a bad day once in a while. They were complaining on the service and owner/waiter being rude and yelling. I've seen more positive ratings than negative ones. While not everybody has the same humor, people can definitely be some Debbie downers. All in all, we had a nice experience and enjoyed the food. Ihop who?? Lol will def be back!!!“

“There used to be Roy Rogers restaurants on the NY state thruway. Would specifically stop at those rest stations to go to a Roy Rogers. Sadly, NY got rid of the Roy Rogers. I was down in Brick today, and this Roy Rogers was amazing! Food was fantastic. Just as good as I remember. Fries were salted to perfection. Burger was juicy. I wish Roy Rogers would make a comeback. Place really is the best fast food company. Tastes good, and very reasonably priced.“

“I just wanted to reach out & thank your staff on duty from Friday 8/18 Especially Rod/Ron the Manager (my apologies I don't remember his name exactly) for outstanding customer service! We were at the restaurant Friday evening. It was the last night of our family Seaside Vacation and our first time dining at The Sawmill. We were seated promptly(young hostess with curly hair and an air cast), drinks & food orders were taken very quickly(female server with dark curly hair and an accent). Our beverages came out in a flash, and our appetizers were moments behind. When my teenage son reached across for some tasty pretzel bites...he knocked his full orange soda into his lap (and shirt) , onto the floor, & even onto me! We sent him to the restroom to try and clean himself up while we motioned for help, we didn't want anyone to slip on the wet floor! Within seconds your staff responded in the best possible way. Your manager was mopping up the floor, our server was bringing a replacement soda, one of the ladies bussing tables hustled over with towels. By the time my son returned from the restroom my husband and I were discussing how to proceed (Run back to the house to change or by new clothes on the boardwalk) when Rod/Ron appeared on bended knee next to my son with Sawmill t-shirts in tow asking his size so he could change his shirt. My son initially refused because; it was "all his fault & he didn't deserve it" but; Rod/Ron persisted and convinced my son that these kinds of things happen to everyone. A point I was just making to my child, when my son heard this he accepted. The way your staff responded in the moment took what could have been an awful end to our vacation into a very bright spot because of how attentive and supportive your staff was. “been coming here for over 10 years. staff is always attentive and amazing (steven & keith are servers i specifically remember but everyone is awesome too!!) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STOPPING HERE!!!
the tables are always spotless and everything is clean. dirty dishes don’t stay at the table long because someone comes by to take them, they’re just awesome like that.

food is always great, hot, and fresh. haven’t had a bad meal EXCEPT the chicken parmigiana dinner, the noodles were very bland and gross (in my opinion) but i’m not one to complain. the chicken was pretty good though. other than that all the food here is a hit, haven’t had to send back a meal ever!

i don’t know what the girls name is but she has dyed hair and busts her ass cleaning tables every time i see her. she works to the best of her ability and she’s quick and kind. all the workers are kind and help each other out. no attitudes. everyone is very professional, no one reeks of cigarettes or strong perfume which is a plus. everything was brought to the table quick even though there was a lot of people.

applebees is the best for fundraisers in the area too. as a kid i came here for a marching band event and had to serve pancakes. they’re always supporting schools or teams in some way

again i highly recommend it you’re in the area. applebees is a great place to go due to the fact they’re open for a whole chunk of the day. any occasion too.

“Great thin crust pie & amazing cheese calzone. I asked for extra mozzarella in calzone & it was perfect! Sauce very good. Our first time & will now try their famous Grandma Pie. Definitely our new go to! Thanks guys!“

“We went there the other night and I have to say I was impressed with the place.There are plenty of tvs if you like to watch sports and a big open area with tables if you just want to dine.The bartender was friendly and so wwere the customers that were sitting at the bar.The food was really good and we can't wait to go back .I'm going to try the Italian hot dog and my girlfriend wants to try the pizza.You owe it to yourself to try this place out.“

Jim, Mary and the rest of the staff do a great job behind the bar and the sight lines for your favorite sports makes Mac’s a great spot to unwind after a tough day at work. The white pie is off the charts for all you pizza lovers. Oh and the Irish Nachos are Back!!!“

“We love Villaggio’s pizzeria. It’s our go to for subs, Italian hot dogs, fresh salads and pizza. Their four cheese pizza is amazing!! Have always used delivery and the service is top notch!!! “This is the arcade you wanna go to in Seaside Heights. The manager was great, the games are well priced and the prizes are actually winnable. Lots of different games and they constantly work together et broken games back up and running. Awesome arcade, hit this place up!“

“Ordered a bacon egg and cheese. How come the kitchen doesn’t do salt pepper ketchup? Excellent sandwich. But if I’m expected to sit there, open up the bun, and use those tiny little salt, pepper and ketchup packets myself then I will not be coming back.

Genuinely great food and staff. But what type of policy is this? In my multiple decades of being alive, not once have I come across this situation. Every other deli/bagel place knows the SPK drill.

And now today, I’m memorial day when I needed a cake last minute with no notice, The lady at the front desk,Jane,first hesitated saying they need some notice,and then said “sure I will do it.” They also came through for me last year when I was in a pinch. I would never go to any other ice cream franchise but these guys, Tom River and Manchester.“
