Small and intimate, the noise is much better with hidden acoustic tiles, the pasta is homemade, and specials are actually interesting, and the service is exceptional. It's also nice to be on Broadway rather than Burlingame Avenue, because it is a bit smaller and charming. This is a great place for Italian food in Burlingame.“

“What a delightful spot! The warm sourdough bread was amazing. Really good tricolor salad and house salad. Good fried calamari …the kind with the tentacles too, not just rings. My husband enjoyed cavatelli and broccoli and I ordered the meatballs but was too full to finish so we brought them home. Glad we stopped here and will return to try pizza next“

“At Luca’s Pizza we just ordered a large cheese pizza to go. It’s amazing! Definitely the best pizza in the middlesex/Piscataway away. “My very Italian New York family and some friends joined us for a celebration at Chianti Wood Fired Pizza (Bernardsville) this past Saturday evening and they are still raving about the delicious food and quality service. We had originally booked a party of 15 and due to unforeseen circumstances ended up having 22 people show up. Frank was so gracious about it and quickly added tables and chairs. The food kept coming and we ate until we rolled out of there. I wish I could pick a favorite food we had but everything was so delicious that I can't decide. The calamari, brussel sprouts and grandma's pizza immediately come to mind. We plan on returning for future celebration and will hopefully get the number of guests right lol.“

“I really love their buffalo chicken pizza. I’ve tried it at many different places, but almost none of them impressed me. However, this restaurant’s buffalo chicken pizza is absolutely fantastic — generously topped, perfectly balanced in flavor, and consistently high in quality every time I order it. Their other pizzas are also above average, but I specifically come here for this one.
I also really love the Morristown area — it’s lively, enjoyable, and full of great dining options. This restaurant is one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood, and as long as they maintain this quality, I’ll keep coming back for years to come.“

Plus, it came with a generous-sized salad, making it a fantastic deal. The eggplant parmesan sandwich was equally delicious—toasted crispy, savory, and so satisfying that it was enough for two meals! “You'll experience a lot of local love at Natales which is a local restaurant/pizzeria that some may say is stuck in a time warp based on the older and now kitschy wallpaper but it's a great background for Italian food or maybe even a period movie set.
Packed on my visit over the holidays which had at least one group waiting for a table.
A large staff of young folks hustle out the orders and wait tables. Very attentive too as we were asked a few times how everything was and if we needed anything. We had only stopped for pizza and not even in the main dining room so +2 for effort.

“Carlos pizza is amazing, our absolute favorite pizzeria. We've been getting them for over 8 years. Recently I my food allergy escalated to the point where any exposure to it sends me to the ER. With that said, i haven't been able to order take out as its a major risk. I took a chance and requested them to exclude these ingredients from the pizza and to avoid cross contamination. Staff is accommodating to additional requests after food is brought to the table, i.e. silverware, condiments, drinks, glasses. “My family just held my baby shower here last week. I could not have been more happy with the result. The room was set up beautifully, the service was fantastic, and the food was the best part. Mangianos worked with my mom throughout the whole process. They were willing to make substitutions and even send left over food home with my mom. We had about 40 guests and there was plenty of space in their event room. My friends and family have been raving about the food, especially the shrimp! I could not recommend them more.“
