“I just left Chubby Chicks. The place was busy, chaotic and the wait was insane. I can tell they weren't ready for the influx of people to come through. They simply are not prepared for this type of "show up and show out" however I have faith that it will all come together. I have a few suggestions because the city wants this business to win. I watched a customer who came from Norristown who caught the 98 & 27 bus to get here start cleaning off tables and seating people lol. I watched another customer start taking people's orders seriously lol. But that in itself shows how much as a people we want this place to win. There needs to be a greeter welcoming people then seating people. A designated person for take out orders only. A person to attend to the people at the bar and a couple people for the tables. Now what I did notice is 2 of the young ladies was super pleasant and thanking us for our patience. Then when the gentlemen arrived for work he jumped in to action and was very nice. But the young lady Sarah who loudly said at least 6 times that "she doesn't work there she's just helping out" but was behind the counter wearing a Chubby Chicks shirt was extremely irritated and not very courteous. All this aside my fish & grits was good I'll try the chicken & waffles one day next week. Oh and read the menu so you wont be complaining like the people next to us at the bar because the grits are deep fried. See you next week Chubby Chicks!“

“There are so many great places to try for lunch in Haddonfield. My good friend and I recently tried Crust N Fire.

It was a beautiful day to walk Kings Highway and the restaurant had lots of natural light (as you can probably tell from the photos) coming through their storefront windows. A variety of seating was available from high tops to regular height tables.

The menu has an eclectic assortment of dishes. From very healthy to being indulgent, there is something on this menu for every one. We went for healthy by ordering the Ginger Salmon and Broccoli healthy bowl and Taco healthy bowl. Who knew a taco bowl could taste so good without cheese (really)! We did add sweet potato waffle fries… Just because they look delicious. And they were!

The staff was SUPER friendly and attentive. Even helped us out with a toothpick.

The pizza looked so tempting. Next time!

“There were two workers there (guy who put our salads together and a girl who rang up our order) and they were really nice. Offered to throw away/clean our trays for us when we were done. The place was very clean. We didn’t realized the place closed at 4 today, but they were nice and didn’t rush us or even told us they were closing. Really good kids.“

“I had dinner at La Sera the other day and was impressed. The appetizers were delicious--we had the calamari, cozze, and mushrooms. All were delicious, but the mushrooms were phenomenal. For entrees, our table had the ribeye, veal ripieno, spaghetti and meatballs, and ravioli rosa. Everyone loved their food.

And I must give a special shout out to Meritan. I realized the next day that I left my hat at the restaurant and I had already left for the airport to return to Florida. I connected with Meritan who I coordinated with to have it shipped to my house.

In all, La Sera offers delicious food and service from good people. I will certainly be back.“
