“My favorite bagel place!!! I've tried others but this is the best. Only suggested improvement is to slice the Taylor ham thinner and add more veggies to the veggie cc but the best bagels.Updated review, September 2023, I have recently went to two different bagel stores in the area and by no way shape or form. Do they compete with this place. One in Kinnelon and one in Butler. Just an update, still by far my favorite.Some staff are friendlier than others, but I've worked in a bagel store and I know how grueling it can be, I never hold it against them because they are always busy and it is a very short interaction.I highly highly recommend this bagel store!“

“If there were more stars, I'd give them. We are from out of state (formerly from Waldwick) and needed to send a brunch catering to a dear family. Bagel Supreme was professional, sweet, considerate and kind. I called on a Sunday afternoon at 1 PM (about an hour before the store closed) and the owner had his wife call "within the hour." She did and spent time with me on the phone getting the right order to fit my request for the family. Then sent multiple texts to confirm everything throughout the evening. Talk about going ABOVE AND BEYOND! They delivered PROMPTLY as promised the next day and they sent us pictures of the platters to ensure that we saw what was delivered. Greeting cards to mark the occasion with our thoughts HAND WRITTEN were attached. The store would NOT take money until the order was delivered even though I offered to pay in advance. I will absolutely use them in the future for long distance gift giving (who doesn't like food as a gift)? And this will be our very first stop when we are back in town. 1,000% recommend!!!“

“Wayne Hot Bagels supplied breakfast for Teacher Appreciation Week and did a fabulous job! They were friendly, courteous, patient and worked with me to find items that fit within the budget. The two brothers I worked with listened to my situation and understood what I was hoping to provide food-wise, and then they suggested a mixed tray of baked goods and desserts that were perfect. They even sent me photos and a video of the finished trays of goodies after they put them together. And then they delivered. Amazing. Top-notch customer service. I highly recommend this company for food delivery and catering. Good, good people.“

“This place is so damn good! A couple of days ago I got, Fresco’s Bagels, for breakfast. It was fantastic. I had ordered their Garlic Bagel Toasted w/ Cream Cheese. I’ve honestly never had a bagel that good before. The exterior was crunchy and crispy, while the interior was airy and fluffy. Absolutely amazing. The cream cheese was an awesome compliment too. The lady who took my order was nice and attentive. Made sure my order was correct and had a wonderful personality. And the fact that I was in and out in less than 10 minutes was a major plus. I was in a rush, and famished. I would usually order two bagels (typically with bacon TML 😉), and man was I PO’d I did not get another one. I’D HIGHLY RECOMMEND, Fresco’s Bagels, to anyone in the, Pequannock Township area, and looking for an excellent breakfast!“

“Listen they got the food down packed! But the service needs improvements and the quality of requests needs to be honored more efficiently! The truth is a hard working man doesn't want to come in more then once and have issues with their sandwich and have to wait much longer too get a new one. Nobody likes that in 2025. But overall the cooks are hard working people and make sure the food is great! They deserve 5 stars or more and more too come. “This is one of my favorite food places. The bakery goods are fantastic. Bagels are made on premises and if you get lucky, you can get them fresh out of the oven.

Though not high end dining, this restaurant checks the boxes. Food is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is not fair to rate the atmosphere on the same plane as the other two. It’s not fancy but quite functional. Especially since it’s usually utilized as a take out place. Most of the time, I’m passing through. I phone in my order and pick it up shortly after. BTW, the tuna and chicken salads are to die for. Maybe the best I’ve ever had. The egg salad is no slouch either.“

“I ended up at this Better on a Bagel shop and will be returning due to Google giving me other locations. I went to another location on Mcbride Ave next to Chase Bank as per Google it stated they opened at 6am. I got there at 6:15am and they were still closed with employees inside who didn't bother to acknowledge me. But anyway this place Better on a Bagel, the bagels were so soft and yummy. The price for 3 and half dozen with a pound of cream cheese was great as well. The customer service were amazing. Definitely will be returning!!! Thank you for those yummy bagels.“

“I used to come here all the time in college, circa '98, '99. I haven't been there in quite a few years, but decided to stop with my son the other day. I ordered a Taylor Ham and cheese on a toasted plain bagel and he had a plain bagel with cream cheese. It was the best I've had in years!! Now my son is asking me everyday to take a ride up there. Glad to see the quality remains the same! We'll be back........frequently! The Howard Stern on an Everything Bagel was my go to in college. I'm sure it's still amazing.“

“Great spot for fresh bagels, they have a simple variety and have several cream cheeses, not as many as I'm used to seeing in traditional bagel places. Bakers dozen gives you a free bagel! “I have been going to Baldwin Bagel for over 2 years now before work and I am so greatful for this deli. This place is packed in the morning and all of the staff are professional, friendly, and hardworking. I have seen a number of rude customers go out of their way to pick problems about their orders (that never exist) and the staff remains calm and collected. Their food is good , bagels always fresh, and omelettes are delicious. I look forward to seeing the ladies who work there every morning as they greet me with a warm smile.“

If you haven't had a NY bagel, they're unbelievable. Soft inside with almost chewy outside, absolutely delicious with butter, or as a sandwich. Don't buy too many. The real price of eating old-world bakery fresh breads is: they don't last. They might be somewhat edible the next day, but they're like doughnuts that way: a 1-day life expectancy.“
