“We ordered our Thanksgiving dinner this year from Comfort Kitchen Cafe and every single thing was delicious! The turkey was the best turkey everyone has had! Moist, delicious and was even carved to perfection. The mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, carrot and lasagna were amazing too. Oh and the salad! “If there were more stars, I'd give them. We are from out of state (formerly from Waldwick) and needed to send a brunch catering to a dear family. Bagel Supreme was professional, sweet, considerate and kind. I called on a Sunday afternoon at 1 PM (about an hour before the store closed) and the owner had his wife call "within the hour." She did and spent time with me on the phone getting the right order to fit my request for the family. Then sent multiple texts to confirm everything throughout the evening. Talk about going ABOVE AND BEYOND! They delivered PROMPTLY as promised the next day and they sent us pictures of the platters to ensure that we saw what was delivered. Greeting cards to mark the occasion with our thoughts HAND WRITTEN were attached. The store would NOT take money until the order was delivered even though I offered to pay in advance. I will absolutely use them in the future for long distance gift giving (who doesn't like food as a gift)? And this will be our very first stop when we are back in town. 1,000% recommend!!!“

I don’t usually go out for brunch because most places serve the same old eggs and pancakes, but Jackie Smalls completely changed my mind. This has to be my favorite breakfast/brunch spot I’ve tried!

I ordered the Freekeh Bowl, Grains of Nazareth, and French Toast, and every dish was incredibly fulfilling and well-balanced. But let me tell you—the French Toast was hands down the best I’ve ever had. They use sourdough bread infused with rose, which adds such a unique flavor. The whipped cream on the side was unbelievably fresh (unlike anything I’ve had before!), and the maple syrup had just the right amount of sweetness.

If you haven’t been to Jackie Smalls yet, you need to give it a try. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!“

My only critique is that it seems that flavor had been unecesarily sacrificed for “healthiness” on a few dishes like the oatmeal pancake, and quiche. “I love Hug a Mug so much!! The owner is incredibly kind and makes sure to get to know her customers. The baristas seem to have expertise and knowledge about coffee and are passionate to work here. “Amazing tea shop! My wife and I enjoyed the Tea Ceremony with owner Fengxiao very much. Extremely relaxing and informative. Fengxiao spent extra time with us and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. Her very laid back approach to the ceremony made it very enjoyable. It was well worth our 2 hour drive to her shop. After the ceremony we purchased one of the 3 amazing teas we had. It was the Wild Old Tree Lao Ban Zhang Ripe Pu-erh Tea, 2005. A very good Puer at an extremely reasonable price. We also purchase a clay pot of excellent quality which was also very well priced. I am going to use Sinofilia Tea Shop for future online purchases. I highly recommend visiting Fengxiao’s store and booking the Tea Ceremony. At the end of our visit, we felt like we had met a new friend!“

It’s so worth the drive from Pompton Lakes because Austin, the manager in Wayne, knows what customer service means and he is people oriented so the drinks are tastier. “We have been to Made in Italy many times during all of the ownership changes. We have been for dinner, had graduation parties and gone for dessert only. We were so happy to hear that it was open at night again. My husband recently had knee replacement and was itching to get out. We decided to go for coffee/dessert at Made in Italy. He struggled to get in the car and out when we arrived. It was 8:30 Saturday night when they close at 10. There were over 15 tables open - we asked to be seated for coffee and dessert only to be told they don’t do that. They wouldn’t seat us - they gave us their card and told us to check the menu when we got home- which we did. The second paragraph of the website says - stop by just to have a cup of our gourmet coffee. They had many tables open and preferred to turn us away. Needless to say - we will not be going back.“

It looks kind of like it's out of date or something, but inside it felt much more refreshing and like a classic coffee shop feel. I thought their prices were reasonable and the girl who helped us was nice. It seemed like they only had one employee so the service was a little bit slow, but we still didn't wait very long so it was no problem at all.“

“Palazzone Pastry Labs and had a mixed experience. The pastries themselves were quite good, with a nice variety and fresh ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the cannoli, which had a delightful filling and a perfectly crisp shell.

However, the service left much to be desired. The servers were not very friendly, which took away from the overall experience. A bit more warmth and attentiveness from the staff would go a long way in making customers feel welcome and valued.

“This Kung Fu tea is located right in front of food court, mainly a take out store. They have all the popular drinks. In addition they also sell macaroons and large tea bags. The store is very clean and organized. One person is at register, 3 are making drinks in the back, one handing them out correctly, during heavy rush hour. I was very impressed with the service and efficiency. My mango green tea was top notch with delicious soft mango jelly.“
