The food is fresh, great tasting and the chicken is well trimmed.

I also enjoy looking at the many different styles and sizes of statues for sale.

It's a local takeout place and once the Mom of adult children who takes my phone in order realizes it's me walking I. To pick up my food, her expression changes into a smile.“

My son loved the Tom Kha and the Shirley Temple drink. Loved that they served the hot tea by the pot. The service was excellent. They also gave us 10% off for paying with cash. Overall good experience and very reasonably priced. I would go back.“

“I ordered General Tso's combination platter, Boneless Spare Ribs and Vegetable Lo Mein. The food was ready in less than 15 minutes. The lady on the phone was helpful when I ordered and clarified each item. I was there at 8:30 pm, the parking lot was pretty dark and most stores were closed on the strip mall where the store is located. There's a laundry mat and seafood restaurant on opposite sides on Mr China. Cars park along the sidewalk in the front of the stores to pick up their orders. Be careful pulling in and out. After I parked I witnessed a car pulling in as a mini van was pulling away from the curb, they b nearly collided.Parking lot hijinks aside, I recommend the food at this restaurant.“

I am a student of Martial Arts for many years and a Trenton firefighter, so I have a lot of respect for the Chinese people and the food. But if you notice the dishes they prepare aren't Chinese food it's American food just cook their way and the texture is great. “After our go-to place sold to new owners during covid, we had been struggling trying to find a Chinese spot that actually had good food....then we found Joyful Garden. We have ordered more items than we normally do just to try out different things amd everything has been excellent. The only thing that wasn't a hit with my husband was the honey wings....he didn't care for the sauce on the wings and texture of the wings. Otherwise this place has great food, at great prices. You have to try it out!“

“We have our usual Chinese place, but we thought we'd give this one a try because it was conveniently on our way home from a service. I ordered the sezchuan tofu. My husband got vegetable chow mein and we also got a side of vegetable fried rice. The sezchuan tofu was probably the best Chinese takeout I've ever had. It wasn't too spicy to eat but had enough kick to make my sinuses clear. The fried rice was too sticky and didn't seem fried. It was lacking in seasoning and flavor but the vegetables in it were big and chunky. My husband's chow mein looked great but lacked sauce. It was all fresh. I'll def be back for the tofu dish.

“I did an order delivery tonight and it's probably enough for three or four nights. I ordered directly from the store..The delivery came within 30 minutes and the lady I spoke to to make the order was very nice before that. I got some steamed chicken dishes with sauce on the side. I asked for brown rice instead of white rice and it was only a dollar per serving. I also got pork with snow peas and it came perfectly beautifully steamed even though i didn't specify that but it's exactly how I like it. Also lo mein as well. All of this with delivery fee and tip totalled about 60 or $65. And the food tastes just great. I am so happy I ordered from them and this is the second time I did so and had forgotten about them for a while. I rate this as the best Chinese delivery food in the area.

They used to do a lunch buffet from 11-230 on the weekdays. But I don't think that they resumed after Covid. The prices did go up, but the quality of the food is still amazing.

“This is one of my favorite Chinese places in the area and I order often via door dash but they literally NEVER put any type of sauce in your food packaging. Yesterday I ordered food and selected in the app for them to include sauce and utensils and I had neighbor in my bag & they don’t allow comments on the door dash app. Please start including sauce or I’ll stop ordering and find another place.“
