“My very Italian New York family and some friends joined us for a celebration at Chianti Wood Fired Pizza (Bernardsville) this past Saturday evening and they are still raving about the delicious food and quality service. We had originally booked a party of 15 and due to unforeseen circumstances ended up having 22 people show up. Frank was so gracious about it and quickly added tables and chairs. The food kept coming and we ate until we rolled out of there. I wish I could pick a favorite food we had but everything was so delicious that I can't decide. The calamari, brussel sprouts and grandma's pizza immediately come to mind. We plan on returning for future celebration and will hopefully get the number of guests right lol.“

“Carlos pizza is amazing, our absolute favorite pizzeria. We've been getting them for over 8 years. Recently I my food allergy escalated to the point where any exposure to it sends me to the ER. With that said, i haven't been able to order take out as its a major risk. I took a chance and requested them to exclude these ingredients from the pizza and to avoid cross contamination. They went the extra mile and made a safe pizza!! When you're not able to order pizza for months, this means the world lol. BIG THANKS TO CARLOS!! You rock! ❤️“

This place is a great choice you if are in the Gladstone or even the Basking Ridge area, where they opened another location. Definitely my go-to spot for pizza takeout.

“I had my husband 60th birthday party in the Banquet Room. Giving the BIGGEST shout out Jen, Spencer and John who made it the best party ever. Walked me through every step from planning, ordering and choosing the right menu. It was the greatest party by far that we ever had. Bigger shout out to the bartender Julia and hostess Gabby. “When this place first opened up, the service was not good and honestly neither was their pizza. I have not been here for quite some time. Some co-workers invited me and for company's sake I joined them this past week. We decided to sit outside and we ordered an everything pizza. “What a great Pizza Discovery. First of all, you cannot get any better Customer Service. The Family owned business was highly engaged the moment you walk thru the doors. They have been in the Food Business for 50 years and at this location for 30, so they understand the importance of customer engagement. Their great attitude alone would have me wanting to go back because they are such nice people. Small Family run business, it doesn't get any better. But it does here, the Pizza was excellent and the Homemade dessert knocked it out of the park. The Pizza is unique in that it made like a traditional Neopolitan style where the crust is wet and has some sag at the start of the slice. This is not usually the style with a deck oven Pizza slice, but they pull it off because the dough is so fresh. Perfect blend of cheese with an excellent homemade sauce. They are tucked away in a mini mall in Peacock, but once you make it there once, your taste buds will bring you back. Thank you for a great experience.“

“They are usually on point with the service they provide and the pizza they make. I called and ordered a well done plain pie ahead of time for pick up.. when I arrived, it quickly became apparent that they forgot about me.. meanwhile, they have an entire fresh pie that just came out of the oven, and instead of offering me the pie, they cut it up for two slices for a different customer and made me wait 20+ minutes to make what they forgot! I will say that I frequent this shop and will continue to do so but I hope you take this criticism and make adjustments if that should ever happen again. Your pizza Is cromulent“

“I can’t say one bad thing about this restaurant - the food, the service, even the greeting at the front door was all great. As soon as my friends and I walked in we felt comfortable. We shared eggplant rollatini and bruschetta to start, and each had pasta dishes (chicken parm & lasagna) for our main entrees. We each brought half our dinners home so we could share a dessert :) which was also wonderful (fresh baked chocolate chip cookie in a cast iron pan with ice cream). We WILL be back.
