“Went to Fresh Tiki Bar in Somerville for ice cream and wow, did not disappoint. It’s rich and creamy, you can just tell it’s made with good ingredients, not the cheap stuff. Not overly sweet either, which I loved. The tropical flavors were a fun twist, definitely not your average ice cream shop. Portions were generous too, no complaints there. Staff was super friendly and fast. Great little spot for a hot day, already thinking about my next visit. If you’re around Somerville and want something sweet, this is the move.“

“Coming here for years. Some food items have gone down in quality, namely the pork chop and mac and cheese. Pork chop used to be really cooked to perfection and moist, however lately it has been dried out and overcooked. Mac and cheese lost the amount of cheese it usually has on it, and noodles were undercooked the previous two times. Must have changed the cooks in kitchen, who knows.“

“We recently had my daughter’s soccer team lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I spoke with the manager on duty the evening prior and it couldn’t have gone smoother. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. Service was amazing as was the food. We sometimes have issues splitting checks because the girls want to sit together away from their parents but they handled it with ease. I’m still dreaming of the delicious ice cream that was the cherry on top of a great experience.“

We shared eggplant rollatini and bruschetta to start, and each had pasta dishes (chicken parm & lasagna) for our main entrees. “The most flavorful hard ice cream! The Dark Chocolate Raspberry Truffle? ::chef's kiss:: We mixed it with the cappuccino (great coffee flavor!) and my non-sweet-eating husband ate his half. The kids had a handful of very colorful chocolate dipped waffle cones to choose from and enjoyed their delicious colorbomb on the bench outside. They got the crazy vanilla (because rainbows are fun to eat!) and it was not only pretty but also had a really nice vanilla flavor. We'll definitely be going out of our way for this stop again! “We walked into this place last minute on a Friday night to celebrate my birthday since another sushi place had been unable to accommodate gf. We could not have stumbled upon a better experience! Elan at the sushi bar made us a custom omakase tasting all gluten free and so delicious. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and really created a one of a kind meal while making us feel special and taken care of. We ended up with about 15 different courses i believe all fabulous and ended with a special ice cream sushi dessert. “This is the best Thai restaurant I have been too. I have been going to this restaurant for the last 10 years now. The food here is tasty and authentic! The service is also phenomenal, you are always welcomed with a smile. The place is small and now does offer outdoor seating.
