“Excellent Spanish cuisine restaurant. To be clear, this is not your trendy tapas restaurant, it's more of a full fare place. The food is really good, well presented, the service is excellent. We were treated like kings, with the owner chatting us up when he learned we came from all over and that it was my birthday. There was no live music when we visited and we'll have to come back to check that out. The dining area atmosphere does feel a bit old, not really trendy, especially given the "older patronage" that seemed to be prevalent. But don't let that stop you from enjoying rare Spanish cuisine.“

“Expectations and high and this places delivers (just don't expect them to deliver your pizza lol) Trying to call is pretty pointless unless you get very lucky. I tried calling literally 80+ X when it first opened. Go down there and order in person even if it's 2-3 hour wait it's worth it but I don't live too far. Place is small and old school inside, not renovated but you're not coming for comfy seats or views anyway. Pizza is definitely the best I've ever had and I love exploring new pizza place. The Pepperoni and hot honey just hit different and had me dreaming of more. Been twice this week and definitely will be coming back regularly. Must try!“

“Situated at a prime location and serves the best food. We have visited multiple times and tasted most of the menu items. Soups and sandwiches attracts our taste buds to go repeatedly. Mac & Cheese and Cheese Pizza are all time favorite for our toddler. Staff here are cool and friendly. On Thanks giving eve my kids cheese pizza was the last order they made it patiently and we were impressed.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians can go blindly and have a tummy full of food.“

“My husband and I came for our 5th anniversary and had the best service and the meal was better than we could have imagined!!! We had Ellie as a server and Mike as a bartender, and it was the best experience we’ve had at restaurant since before Covid. The Stella pizza and octopus appetizers were recommended by the staff and they did not steer us wrong! The drinks were well made and the ambience was perfect!“

“Quick stop here for ice cream, on a week night. Great variety of flavors and lots of seating. I got the strawberry buttermilk: roasted strawberries, buttermilk and house sweet strawberry honey balsamic jam...so good, love the jam running through it and not stingy with it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back.“

“Coming here for years. Some food items have gone down in quality, namely the pork chop and mac and cheese. Pork chop used to be really cooked to perfection and moist, however lately it has been dried out and overcooked. Mac and cheese lost the amount of cheese it usually has on it, and noodles were undercooked the previous two times. Must have changed the cooks in kitchen, who knows.“

“A cute cafe in the heart of Basking Ridge's commercial district. It is simple but charming, and coupled with the town, has a very Gilmore Girls-esque atmosphere. Limited parking right in the front of the cafe. We came on a Wednesday around 11am and it was almost empty, and as we were leaving about an hour later it was nearly full. Good service, good food, great prices. I would definitely come back if I find myself in the area.“

“It was my first time there, and I now have a new go-to place. Very well run from the management to the staff! There is a great menu with specials every day. Live music on Friday and Saturday nights. “Tacowala is a really great option for large events. Amish was incredibly welcoming and helpful in helping us choose how much and what to order for my guests. We fed 40+ people with the tacowala catering event, it was all correct and greatly organized. I would recommend this to anyone hosting a large party as a great option for vegetarian mexican inspired indian tacos!“

We didn't even have a reservation, on a somewhat busy Friday night, but they were able to accommodate us for a last-minute table for two. One of the Managers, if not, the Manager, by the name of Charlotte, was extraordinarily delightful, courteous, friendly and very accommodating! And our server, Bailey, was every bit helpful, patient, sweet, attentive, and she was even kind enough to give us a couple of great recommendations off of their menu. “One of the best brunch spots around. From the thick cut bacon to the fluffy pancakes there’s nothing you won’t like. Went for the first time a few weeks ago and have been back twice. I have yet to be disappointed by anything off the menu. Their Tres Leches French toast comes drizzled with Maple syrup, two scoops of whipped cream and loaded with blueberries and strawberries. A perfect sweet treat. The winner for me is the coconut guava cream pancakes. These are fluffy creamy and perfectly sweet. I can’t say enough about their pancakes plus I’m a sucker for guava. Their omelet is delicious and filling. The Hot Honey chicken & waffles will leave you stuffed. The sweet waffle and savory fried chicken is the perfect mix. And finally to discuss my favorite dish, the huevos Rancheros. This is hands down the best huevos rancheros I’ve had. Their chorizo is so packed with flavor and spice it makes the dish. This dish couldn’t be any more complete with its combination of chorizo, shrimp and cooling guacamole plus the two sunny side up runny eggs on top of two crispy tortillas. Highly recommend this place but warned there is a wait so be sure to make a reservation if you’re not a fan of waiting“

“Stopped off after visiting our daughter at college was greated and seated immediately. Our hostess/server was helpful and attentive! We ordered massaman curry and pad lard nar both with chicken. Was offered lunch or dinner portion we chose lunch. Loved the peanut salad that came with our meal. The portions were awesome and yummy. I had level 3 spice on curry and it was perfect. Only regret is we wished we lived closer! Highly recommend especially if you are local!“

“My wife and I have come to fresh tiki bar several times now. I have had their soft serve vanilla which is out of this world. As well as their Italian cookie which if you like Italian rainbow cookies you owe it to yourself to try at least once. The place is fairly small inside but it does have outdoor seating. The menu is a good size for an ice cream place, they don't have 5 million flavors but when the number gets that high they often get real weird. The fun flavors they do have seam limited and on a rotation, but I think this allows them to provide a higher quality product from what I've had. I'm fairly certain this is a husband and wife team and I have only dealt with the wife, but she is always very friendly and has a general chipper demeanor.This is a great place for a small date night treat or to take the kids and get a little ice cream.“

“Went here on a Monday with my wife. The storefront is kind of tucked in behind another building so you can't see it from the road. Basically you have to plan to go there, rather than wander in aimlessly. The restaurant was not crowded, so we had a seat and were able to place our orders right away. The restaurant is clean with plenty of room to move about. I had an angus burger baha style and a side of Spanish rice and my wife got the angus burger as protein on top of a salad. The server brought our orders promptly to our table and commented that he had never seen someone order a burger baha style. Frankly, the flavors blended very well, in my opinion. The Spanish rice was delicious and came with little bits of chouriço. My wife enjoyed the freshness of the salad as well as the portion. Enough left over for a lunch. We will definitely be back.“
