And my 3 favorite servers now work in the morning: Mackenzie, Brooke & Jenna.
I had the early bird dinner special: chicken parmesan with a salad and dessert for $17.99. it's a good deal because they chicken parmesan by itself is regularly $17.99.

My server Mackenzie was great: polite, attentive, and fast. As are all of the servers here.

The holiday decor is a whole vibe—the owners and staff really went all out to provide a warm, inviting experience for their customers. We are always greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. “Visiting from Florida, (but former area residents) we had dinner with friends here last night for the first time. Staff is extremely friendly, dining room is decorated very nicely and the menu has much to offer. For appetizers, we had the bang bang shrimp, lobster bisque and calamari. All very good and nicely prepared. We ordered the halibut, short ribs, and scallops…. again…. all delicious! Kudos to the chefs in the back, as each selection came out beautifully prepared as well…. I would highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Great laid back atmosphere for fun drinks and live music. BUT people need to clean up after themselves and staff needs to wipe tables down in between customers. Over the weekend there was trash all over the sand and sticky tables.“

“Great atmosphere for sure. 3 different bars to choose from. Stopped by for a quick bite after a long day of travel because it was walking distance, but the food was just okay. The effort is definitely not there food wise, but it's my first trip to the Shore, so I can't really compare it to any other food spots. At $20 bucks a head for food, it's too expensive for what you get.“

“we've been going to 709 for many years, and go there quite often . service is always good, but the food has been hit or miss for the past year. they closed down and reevaluated their menu and staff. the new staff is excellent, as was the old. we have decided to continue to support 709 during their transition. Saturday's dinner was just not prepared to my liking. my fillet was medium well, when i asked for medium rare. the server was excellent, and tried everything to accomodate my requests. no fault of her own. but, the chefs should pay better attention to what they are cooking. the sushi chefs also need to check the freshness of the fish they are serving. the usually "red" tuna was gray. we tried a piece each, and decided not to eat it, and it was then off our bill. 709 was "the" place to grab a great meal.... look at my other reviews. not too sure anymore.“

“Reds Lobster Pot was fantastic in every aspect. Despite being a busy Sunday evening we were seated prior to our reservation, given exceptional service, and served fantastic food. Our server, Jeanna, was incredibly attentive, witty, and fun despite being very busy. Chris is also another surprise, giving suggestions and just making the entire experience feel personal. I also want to give credit to every member of the staff who took plates, filled water, and performed other tasks that are often overlooked. Everyone was fast and pleasant, going far beyond the normal service provided at most restaurants. The food was amazing, served at the perfect pace, and abundant in portions. The view (as you will see) was the final touch. Can't wait to come back again, this is one of the best beach dining experiences in New Jersey and can't be missed.“
