“I had a great experience at The Squire at Branches in West Long Branch. My food was absolutely delicious and came out quickly, exactly when I expected it, which made the whole visit even better. “I went here for my birthday! I had a pot of steamers as an appetizer and they were delicious, and served traditionally with the broth and hot butter. Then I had a 1 1/4 pound steamed lobster (with more hot butter) which came with corn (yes, I dipped it in butter) and cole slaw. Perfectly cooked! I'd love to make it there again this summer, it's always such a seasonal treat.“

“wow, the best tacos anywhere in monmouth county! they were so full, the berria was delicious, and the fish taco was fresh local fluke, so good, almost a whole filet or more was in the 3 soft tacos, so good. also enjoyed the guac and chips platter that came with a tomatoe salsa and a mango salsa, so good. nice beer and wine selection. live music was great. sat inside due to weather. next time will try the outside bar.“

The effort is definitely not there food wise, but it's my first trip to the Shore, so I can't really compare it to any other food spots. “We went to Brickhouse today and had Brooke as our waitress she was awesome! We had the chili nachos and pretzel for appetizers they were huge and really good! “Houlihan's Tuesday special for $14.99 was chicken tenders with French Fries. I received 6 large tenders and a plate full of crispy fries. The Chicken Taco Soup was delicious too. There was even enough to take home for another meal! Nicole is an excellent server!“

I guess it would be good bar food, but the fries weren't seasoned, so it was good with the sauce they put on, but when we got fries with the sandwich, the plain fries were unseasoned. We didnt really think this should be under "dive bar" so yea. Refers to food as nips and idk if it was the chicken tenders or just some other item used“
