The drinks are fabulous (Fireside Chat) and the seafood gumbo is the best in the land. Service is always great and do catch the Ocean Ave Stompers there if you ever get a chance! It turns into a mini Mardi Gras! It's one of those places where you want it to be popular so it thrives and stays around for years and years, yet you don't want it to get too popular so that it becomes snooty like every other popular NJ restaurant. The holiday decor is a whole vibe—the owners and staff really went all out to provide a warm, inviting experience for their customers. We are always greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. I always enjoy the time spent at Woodys, whether with friends or family. The seating options are many as the heated outdoor area is available all year long. “Great atmosphere for sure. 3 different bars to choose from. Stopped by for a quick bite after a long day of travel because it was walking distance, but the food was just okay. The effort is definitely not there food wise, but it's my first trip to the Shore, so I can't really compare it to any other food spots. At $20 bucks a head for food, it's too expensive for what you get.“
