“When I say, "I love Crown", I LOVE Crown Fried Chicken. Not all locations though, just this location. The chicken is always good, I don't know what they soak and coat that chicken in but it makes the chicken very flavorful and tender - even the breast are juicy.

Parking: Now listen, you may not get a spot close to the entrance and sometimes not even on that block. But it's worth it to park on the next block and walk up the street, please put something on the meter just to be on the safe side.“

I’ve always had a strong spice tolerance, and the “angry spicy” was intense and delicious. Normally, other restaurants either make their hottest dish “American spicy” or the taste is terrible. Not here.

Be warned, the “angry spicy” rivals other Indian restaurants that tout their “Indian spicy” meals. Will definitely be coming back.“

“I originally wanted the dark meat combo but they were out at the moment running a bit behind on prep, which is totally understandable. I instead ordered a 3 piece tender with spicy tots. All I can say is amazing juicy flavorful fresh. My sauce was ranch and the bbq both are in house made you can tell from the freshness the ranch was my favorite. I go to pick up my order and the manager Shane at the time said look I got a fresh thigh I can drop for you on the house. My eyes lit up he said give me 15 minutes I of course without hesitation waited and was blessed with my favorite part of the chicken. Customer service 10 out of 10. I will for sure be returning thanks love and honey and thank you Shane for making my experience here grand“

“After bbq updated there menu I kept getting the rice around a year ago in 2025 its became my favorite food all the way to 2026 now and it’s still is it may be a little expensive but for the protein you get it’s all but worth it with the egg on top when my brother eat the rice for the frist time he said we have to figure out how they make the egg I’ve been eating from this place since it came out and the rice since it’s been added to the menu as well delivers fast cooked fast And the chicken in the rice is so good it’s good enough that it could be it’s on dish as well as the egg that’s why I love this dish so much because there so much variation in this dish it’s like 5 dishes combined 10 out of 10 recommend“

“Just went in this week for the first time, ordered two of the "smaller" sandwiches...They weren't really small, two big chicken fingers on the roll, it was very filling. I got the hot and loved it, had a real bite to it but great flavor. Wife got medium hot liked the flavor but she doesn't like hot as much as I do so mild next time. went back tonight, I got the sandwich again, next time I'm gonna be brave and get the real hot, she got wings (mild) and was very happy with them, said weren't hot but had great flavor. Also got the funnel cake sticks, nice dessert. Definitely will be a regular customer.“

“I can’t even lie — Hot Clux got one of the best chicken sandwiches in the city. I’ve been there multiple times and they stay consistent every visit, no matter which location you pull up to.

My go-to is the Loaded Dirty Bird Special. That joint is seriously one of the best things on the whole menu — packed with flavor, filling, and just hits every time. If you don’t know what to order your first time, start there. Trust.

They also got great drinks to pair with your meal, and the quality of the food is always on point. Never had a sloppy or disappointing order from them.

“New local halal food spot located on Cottman Ave near Castor Ave by the Sunoco gas station. Reasonably priced fresh food platters with a variety of tasty choices to choose from some as low as $5! $5 is a great price for those on a budget. I got the Mac and cheese/ fried chicken combo and the sauce it comes with is so yummy! It was pretty good. Also got the fish over rice with the garlic sauce it comes with a small salad as well. Fish was lightly breaded and cooked well. I will visit this spot again for sure to try out the other menu items!“

“My son and I both agree the combo of their chicken, sauce, coleslaw and pickle on the bun was probably one of the Best hot chicken sandwiches. I loved the hot honey chicken and my preteen got the mild. He is not a coleslaw guy, but even he it was the perfect combo. If you love cheese get the extra cheese, but if not the fries are good as they are. Special #4 sandwich and tender might be the best deal. Special #1 was the perfect lunch.“

Then I informed her but shouldn't I have the option. I trusted her and she selected the highest amount for me without realizing it and tipped herself $38.40 for a $150 bill. Plus she came only once to our table and another server helped us. It was only 2 people and no liquor because it's BYOB. Very sad and discouraging that she took advantage of my kindness and trust. However, the atmosphere is not so good because kids after coming out of school would hang inside and outside and they are not paying customers.
