“My favorite Cape May ice cream shop! We've been stopping in every summer since they first opened. The ice cream is delicious (try the cherry vanilla) and it's even better in their homemade waffle cone. “speedy, great service with no complaints! ben and jerry’s has a wide variety of flavors posted up on their wall before you come in as a little menu, which are all kosher and any dietary restrictions are clarified under the flavor — where non-dairy is separated under the color geeen and sorbet is separated in pink. the ice cream here is highly delicious and is hard to melt but it still doesn’t feel rock solid when you’re eating. the staff here are very polite and the introductory board for the employees is really cute :) i love the message that ben and jerry’s spreads with classic flavors that we all love!“

“After a week long stay in July in Cape May we were basically on the hunt for a new ice cream spot nightly, it's hot & all you do in CM is walk everywhere! Entire Kohr Bros & you bet it hit the spot. Yummy frozen custard & since I'm a sucker for history knowing they've been around for over 100 yrs made me enjoy it all the more!“

“Originally got the ube soft serve and it was amazing, solid 9.5/10. Came back for the matcha soft serve (with coconut flakes added) and it was transcendent. Probably the greatest ice cream i have ever had in my life, and as an avid matcha lover it was glorious. I genuinely do not think anything will ever top it. I think after the first bite i ascended to heaven, high fived god, and only returned so i could eat more of it. The texture? Perfect. The sweetness level? Just right. But most of all, the matcha flavor was strong and high quality- not like other ice creams I’ve had where it tastes like vanilla with a whisper of low-quality green tea. “our meal was excellent. The Scallop and risotto appetizer was done to perfection. The Sirloin steak was prepared just as ordered. The service was excellent. The only complaint was the extreme noise level. Conversation at the table was difficult with all the background noise. We would recommend going after 7pm“

Just the one lady been there lat least ,10 times one lady she's always the the same she don't seem happy to be there at all not very friendly rushes to do things other then that is good but it makes the experience not so happy“

“Visited Johnny Scoops for ice cream with my sister and little ones yesterday 08/27/25. We were greeted by such an amazing man who had such a happy demeanor and he was so sweet to my little ones. We were able to choose from so many flavors and he had just released new flavors. Everything that we had was very delicious but what made it better was the excellent service that we received throughout the whole transaction. There was a smile on his face the whole time and honestly, not many vendors on the boardwalk are nearly as personable as he is. We 100% will go back there again. I hope that many people come here for their ice cream bc of the great service and ice cream at excellent prices…compared to many other places on the boardwalk. The size of the scoops are big too. Definitely stop by if you’re on the boardwalk bc you will not be disappointed. It definitely feels like a small business and I’m so happy to support that.“

“I'm a big fan of boba tea, so I've tried it from several places on the Wildwood boardwalk. In my opinion, theirs has the best taste and is actually served cold unlike a lot of other places on the boards. I asked for a medium and was literally $0.50 short. Most places would have told me not to worry about 50 cents, but it's a business, so I understand.“

“My family and I went to Rita's in Rio Grande this past Sunday for Sundae Sunday Night were all Sundae's were half price. Nearly all of the parking lot was full and there were about 7-8 people ahead of us, but we got to the cashier to place our orders in about 10 minutes. The cashier was very friendly while taking our orders and ringing us up. We each had sundaes and as always, the custard was absolutely delicious. All of the toppings were great as well with the exception of the gummy bears which were pretty rock hard. They were almost the consistency of JuJuBees. We will definitely be back for another round of Sundaes on Sunday in the future.“

“Continuing a family tradition with the next generation... the staff is incredible I loved hearing Lizzy tell stories about my grandfather and his custom designed banana split.... the mummers pin board was awesome and to see and feel my grandfather's mummers suit proudly on the wall was amazing. “When I was on the Wildwood Boardwalk I was surprised when I came across something called “Polish Water Ice” I’ve heard of Italian ice but never Polish ice so I decided to give it a try. It is much smoother and almost creamy like it was also sweeter. I would recommend you stop for some Polish Water Ice on a hot day.“

“Place is immaculately clean, frozen yogurt was delicious and staff was friendly. You can tell the owner cares about the business. Prices are comparable to other ice cream shoppes in the area. My only regret is that after visiting wildwood for years - we didn’t find them sooner !“

Something has happened at this store over the last 2-3 months. Some of the employees are not as friendly and don’t seem to care. The food has gone from very good to just okay, not terrible, but has declined from what it was. Just a heads-up on what regular customers think about your store.

Great young people working here. The food is always fresh and hot…or frozen when it needs to be. The service is always with a smile. I’ve eaten here maybe a dozen times and will continue.“

“Had the pleasure of coming here with a good friend today. I am a cappuccino snob, this was one of the best I’ve had stateside in a LONG time. The Ricotta jam toast was the perfect combination of sweet (blueberries were just perfect) and creamy. Adorable location with a beautiful view that just cant be beat. Kind staff, quick service too. Great prices for the incredible quality of food and beverage they provide as well. I can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu!“
