“Came here to get ice cream. This isn't super close to our house but we were getting sick of Marita's. We used to be big Marita's fans but over the years the price has gone up while the portions have gotten ridiculously small. They have a huge menu here with basically every ice cream you could want. Regular ice cream, soft serve, all different types of sundaes. I was excited to see they had cookie butter as an ice cream topping and definitely got that on mine. The ice cream isn't homemade but it was still good. It was busy, but the line moved quickly. The price was about the same as Marita's but you got much more for your money. FYI, they are also cash only.“

“I had been hearing great things about this place since last summer but just finally had a chance to try it. They have a lot of flavors to chose from in hard and soft ice creams. They also offer lots of extras like toppings and even a waffle Sundae which I saw a customer order and was thinking I will have to try that next time. The prices are very reasonable. It is cash only but they do have a Mac machine on site.“

“Place is great! Owner is super nice and the employees are very nice as well. The first night we stayed in town the line was halfway down the block. So we waited until the next night to try. I got the peanut butter wipeout. I was very skeptical with cereal in ice cream. But it was awesome! Every bite had little pieces in and was great tasting! I will definitely be back next year! “Delicious water ice, tried the mango then the next day got the mango and watermelon. Both were delicious and refreshing. Plus the woman working was so nice. She even gave her recommendation for her favorite pizza on the boardwalk. Will definitely be back again this week.“
“Delicious and refreshing gelato. We had the s'mores, lemon, mango, and coconut. We each got 3 scoops. All the flavors were amazing. Kinda pricey, but worth it. Definitely will get more and try some of their other flavors on our next visit to Ocean City.“
“only place that was open at 10:45 because everyone else closed hours before they said they were going to. I did make sure to call before hand to make sure because of almost everyone on the boardwalk closing early so I reccomend calling before if it's late. also gave me a pretzel since he was closing. highly reccomend, Great guy good heart“

Their flavors were good and available a plenty. Lots of guys behind the counter waiting to take your order so if there is a line, it can move quickly. The one thing that threw me off at first was that it is cash only. Otherwise, definitely recommend as a great spot to go with or without the kids.“
“Wow! Yummy. This is a treasure next to sea isle. I've wanted to go here for years, and finally decided to stop here today. I was taken by wind! I though they just had ice cream and custard here. Turns out they had an entire restaurant menu. The food was absolutely amazing. The inside of the restaurant was a full renovated and a nice cold room. We waited maybe 7 minutes for our food and it was great. One of my new favorite stops on the way home or to Sea isle city New Jersey.“
“We have always been a fan of Johnny B Goode Ice Cream Parlor for whir amazing ice cream sundaes and variety of flavors! Yesterday, however, they went above and beyond! My kids have peanut allergies, which is very hard to navigate when it comes to desserts. When we informed the staff member waiting on us, she made to sure to keep my children safe. They ordered rainbow sherbet, which does not contain peanuts, and she went into storage, pulled out an unused container and fresh ice cream scoop to fully ensure there would be no cross contamination! Navigating food allergies is so hard for parents, but when food service staff go that extra mile, it makes our day just little easier and that much brighter! Thanks for making this mama feel at ease while her kids enjoyed dessert!!!“

It delivers on the hot fudge aspect of the latter (always surprising to me to find ice cream shops without hot fudge), but the ice cream itself wasn't memorable.The two gals working the counter were friendly, but didn't know a lot about the flavors on offer and were quite simply wrong about something one of the flavors contained. Not a huge deal for me, but I wouldn't recommend this shop if you've any allergies.Overall, an old-timey-ish, somewhat pricey ice cream parlor.“
“This gem in Sea Isle is the perfect result of good attitude, excellent product, awesome customer service and engaged owners. Family stayed in Sea Isle for a week and we had Yum Yums each day. The ice cream is delicious. Toppings are generous and the milkshakes (my fave) are fantastic. Many flavors to chose from so you cannot go wrong. That is the excellent product. For customer service, it all starts with the owners. Each are at the counter helping customers and/or staff producing a seamless experience for the customer. Their good attitude is reflected in their staff. The customer is valued and respected. Each night we went to Yum Yums was met with a long line (evidence of a well run ice cream shop) and everyone serving customers has a smile. It is infectious. If you have the opportunity, go. Any wait will be worth it. I'll close with a phrase my kids came up with during our stay ... "Put some Yum Yums in your tum tums."“
