We have been going to this location as well as the one in Somers Point for over 40 years. Great staff and the eating area is always well cared for which that makes it perfect for families of all sizes and ages.“
“Wanted something a little different for lunch today and decided to try this place after years of seeing passing it on the way to town we tried it out. We went for lunch it was take out only I'm assuming that's a lunch thing as they have seats and different hours for lunch and dinner. We got 3 different lunch specials and the food was excellent it came with your choice of fries or white rice and a veggie or reg egg roll. The lady was super nice and our door was out fast. A def spot to hit again.“
“I always pass by the Custard Hut and finally decided to give it a try. I ordered the birthday cake sundae. Service was quick, and there is a decent amount of seating here. The cake itself in the sundae was okay, but the soft serve ice cream itself was very good. I'll be back to try more!“
“I had been hearing great things about this place since last summer but just finally had a chance to try it. They have a lot of flavors to chose from in hard and soft ice creams. They also offer lots of extras like toppings and even a waffle Sundae which I saw a customer order and was thinking I will have to try that next time. The prices are very reasonable. It is cash only but they do have a Mac machine on site.“
“Place is great! Owner is super nice and the employees are very nice as well. The first night we stayed in town the line was halfway down the block. So we waited until the next night to try. I got the peanut butter wipeout. I was very skeptical with cereal in ice cream. But it was awesome! Every bite had little pieces in and was great tasting! I will definitely be back next year! “We have always been a fan of Johnny B Goode Ice Cream Parlor for whir amazing ice cream sundaes and variety of flavors! Yesterday, however, they went above and beyond! My kids have peanut allergies, which is very hard to navigate when it comes to desserts. When we informed the staff member waiting on us, she made to sure to keep my children safe. They ordered rainbow sherbet, which does not contain peanuts, and she went into storage, pulled out an unused container and fresh ice cream scoop to fully ensure there would be no cross contamination! Navigating food allergies is so hard for parents, but when food service staff go that extra mile, it makes our day just little easier and that much brighter! Thanks for making this mama feel at ease while her kids enjoyed dessert!!!“
“Wow! Yummy. This is a treasure next to sea isle. I've wanted to go here for years, and finally decided to stop here today. I was taken by wind! I though they just had ice cream and custard here. Turns out they had an entire restaurant menu. The food was absolutely amazing. The inside of the restaurant was a full renovated and a nice cold room. We waited maybe 7 minutes for our food and it was great. One of my new favorite stops on the way home or to Sea isle city New Jersey.“

During the summer months, they have weekly live entertainment: live magic show for young children (and those young at heart), and another evening is music- piano man sings and takes requests. “Custard Castle had a nice outdoor seating area and large selection of water ice, soft serve, and hand dipped ice cream. got a gelati. One positive remark of others with me is the faint smell of disinfectant from their windows. they keep the place clean. offer drive through service too.“
“Girls are great. Fruit is fresh and everything is presented neatly, no sloppy dripping ever. Only (recurring) disappointment is they never have the grilled hotdogs. Kids (us adults too) want hotdogs off a grill, but we're always told they only offer them if cooked in their microwave ?... Otherwise, it's great!!“
“I've been going to Buddy's all summer, what a fantastic shop!The place is clean, everything is fresh and delicious, the menu is creative, and all your traditional (and some newer) toppings are available.My favorite has been the island acai bowl, it's a little on the sweet side, but of course that's to be expected. The milkshakes are great, the ice cream floats are awesome, and the Italian ices are refreshing on a hot day.“
