“Buddys is Located inside of woodland village. What a super cute little place. Unfortunately we came after the rest of the village closed at 5pm. But buddys is open until 10pm. We were met by a cheerful young lady. Lots of delicious flavors to choose from, in ice cream and sorbet. I had brownie cookie dough and moose tracks. I wanted hot fudge but they only had chocolate syrup. My husband had raspberry sorbet. Both were delicious and reasonably priced! We will be back again when the village is open and for more ice cream. YUM“

“Pretty tasty. The staff is very polite. I think some of the prices were a bit too high. We had gotten 5 small (and they are pretty small) ice cream cups for like $20. The mediums seems a much more reasonable price. Was like twice the size (maybe more) of the small for not much more. But nice for a family treat on the way home from the shore.“

“I am a Kindergarten teacher in Millville and we decided to take the whole grade level to the beach for a field trip. I reached out to the Churn House asking if they could accommodate our K students and they did not hesitate at all. They opened their ice cream shop early just for our school to enjoy. They made the students huge homemade ice cream sandwiches that were absolutely delicious! Communication was beyond superb and we will be using them again!! “My daughter and I had a hankering for ice cream so we were in Avalon and decided to give Buccaneer Ice Cream & Candy a try. When we parked, there were several tables outside under a cover if customers wanted to eat their ice cream alfresco. When we entered, there were signs guiding customers in one entrance and out of the other with social distancing markers inside. Maybe we came at a less crowded time, but all customers were following the social distancing markers and the young man behind the Plexiglas counters was wearing gloves and a mask. He was very polite and let us both know that each scoop was roughly the size of a softball and boy, he was not kidding. I'm so glad we only ordered the single "kiddie" scoops. It was so hard to resist the amazing smell of fresh waffle cones being made, but we went with the basic sugar cones with a scoop of Mint Chocolate Chip for my daughter and a scoop of Sea Salt Caramel Nut for me. Hands down in was one of the creamiest and most flavorful ice creams either of us have ever had. In between licks of her ice cream cone, my daughter could not stop talking about how minty the ice cream was as well as how many chocolate chips were in the ice cream. My Sea Salt Caramel Nut was one of the most rich ice creams I've ever had with the perfect balance of the sea salt and caramel. The ice cream was also chock full of nuts. We were a bit sad that we weren't able to finish our cones before we started our evening activity, but if we're in Avalon again, we'll definitely plan a little more time for a stop at Buccaneer Ice Cream and Candy.“

They are extremely friendly, have a sincere love for all animals and are the kindest people you will ever meet ! My PepperGirl enjoys roaming around the store, getting extra love and attention. “I came here all the time as a kid and so did my girlfriend. It was so nostalgic to come back to Kohr Bros and still have a fantastic experience. There was a worker named Annalisa (I hope I’m spelling it right) who made our experience so inviting. It was super busy and she greeted everyone with a huge smile and you could tell she loved being there. Coming back to this place and being around such wonderful service really lit up our hearts and our inner child’s. Thanks Annalisa!!“

“We got the southend combo with the fried fish, shrimp, scallops, and french fries. It was all incredible, the fried scallops were probably the best I’ve ever had. It was a 20 minute wait for them to drop the order but it was worth the wait for them to fry it on the spot. Plus the staff was super kind and we had some dessert before dinner with a mango gelati from Mike’s ice cream next door. Overall a great experience.“
