“My daughter chose this place for a special dinner on our weekend down the shore. It was great! The food and cocktails were delicious and everyone from the owner to the busboy was so sweet, fun, and helpful. We shared an assortment of starters- Thai chili shrimp, crab cake, Brussels sprouts, pistachio ricotta with crostini- and would order everything again. Our server, Brianne, was wonderful. Thank you for a perfect evening!“

“We recently hosted a family dinner at Ralph’s Sports Bar. Ralph and his staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly and that we were happy. My family thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. My aunt said the chicken francese was the best that she has had and the wings and burgers were outrageous. We are looking forward to our next event at Ralph’s!“

“Tankys is the spot! These people in the comments below complaining about it being unsafe just have nothing better to do. Other bars right down the block plays music just as loud and stays open just as late. Besides the one incident last year, there aren’t any brawls or fights that happen there. Most ppl that go there are regulars and know each other. To the ppl complaint about it being loud in open late, you have the power to move to another place you knew where you were moving to when you moved there tankys has been there my whole lifeThe drinks are strong and cheap, the vibe is chill, older crowd, when they have a DJ the music is good, u can bring food in, and they have a lil pool table and a parking lot. I been going to tankys for year and never had a bad experience. Occasionally the bartenders be too busy to get to me and I’ll get tired of waiting and leave but that’s all rare.“

“Give this local place a try if you can. As you can see by reading the reviews the staff is so friendly, and welcoming, they take care of you. It’s not just a bar, there is a casual dining room, plenty of tables. The food is good, VERY GOOD!! I ordered shrimp and veg upon recommendation 👍👍. Others at my table had penne vodka with some great looking grilled chicken, and fish n chips. Bring your family or friends. A full meal thats more affordable than many places.“

“Great food. Tiny place and if you go late on certain days you may not get a table. Staff is hit or miss. One day I witnessed three young girls working there standing behind the bar talking to each other and on their phones rather then tending to the customers. I do have to give support to the one young lady who eventually had to run the whole place herself till someone came to cover the bar. They should always have more than one person working the main dining area. If you want a good bar pie come here.“

“For a hotel, it certainly was refreshing. Traveling a lot you don't always get the best food selection.

With that said, the crispy Brussels sprouts, OH-EM-GEE. Hear me out. They were the best thing I think I've eaten...in well, ever. It wasn't just the whole Brussels sprout itself, it was mostly the outer skins that was coated in seasonings, oil, and crispy. They were SO GOOD!

I definitely recommend the French Onion soup as well, we had that twice. 😋“

The owners are passionate about their establishment and it comes through in aces with regards to their food, drink and service. “We originally pulled up to the bar across the street to play pool but it was packed. I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed this place. The pool table takes $1 bills, the bar tender was EXCELLENT, the drinks were reasonably priced, the bar pie was good and the outdoor deck has a ton of potential- it overlooks the marina.

I lived here for 30 + years / never knew about this place. Needless to say; I'll be back for sure“

“I gotta say I critique everyone i come across at Bar and restaurants looking for reasons to dislike my food and drinks just to criticize with the intention of making them better at what they do but with my bartender Golda she is absolutely incredible she made me multiple drinks and they were spot on very well balanced especially her long Island ice tea best I've ever had and i only waited at most 1 min for her to get back to me she is very obsevant and seen when my glass was empty i did not need to even get her attention!!! All in all fine establishment friendly staff even the manager asked me how everything was and i only had good things to say so stop by and always remember tip your bartenders!!!!“

“Hosted a birthday party for about 28 people including kids. The service staff was attentive and responsive to emails and to my calls when I had questions. Here are pictures. The food that we ordered from the party package #2 was terrific. We brought our sound bar to play music from my own playlist. There is an option to have music provided by the bar/restaurant if you want. I would return to host another party. Much recommended.“
