“I am so extremely happy as I found my mei fun noodle I've been looking for. I used to (back on 2016) work near by this place and my coworkers had always ordered mei fun (thin rice noodle) from this place. As I moved job at 2018, I forgot where to get the same exact thing that I've tried from when I was working near by this chinese restaurant, I went to so many chinese restaurant around woodbridge/ edison to look for the exact thing but their mei fun noodle are so different compared to this (both the look and the taste). how I found this place again? I've never been here in person as in the past my coworkers ordered by phone and had them delivered to work. I tried to google chinese restaurant near carteret and found the singapore noodle pic on this website and give it a try to come try it in person. because from the look, it's just like what I want. the very very thin rice noodle (vermicelli). came to know that this place was the one where my friends ordered from! i'm so happy. will be back for my rice noodle again :))“

“We have been going to the Magic Grill for over 30 years. It is quick - if you want but never rushed if you don't. We love that everyone gets to select their own ingredients from 3 meats- chicken, pork , beef- super thinly sliced-12 or so vegetarian choice- zucchini, bok choy, onions, carrots, pineapple, peppers, baby corns, chives and a variety of sauces to suite every taste.“

“The food is literally so good! It’s really tasty and they make the food to order. I live on the south shore and I’ve been there around 10 times and it’s always so good. The waitress is so nice. The chefs bring the food out to you sometimes or ask you questions about what you want. The place is small, modern, very clean. I love it haha“

Not only did I reheat it after work and it was delicious, but I ate it for lunch the next day, too, and still really good. “A newer location and farther up the island than YaYa, this Cafe offers a variety of dim sum as well as 烧蜡, with duck,pork, and chicken offerings. They also have some pre-made bao buns and other items in refrigerators in the store, which you can grab and go.
The food is excellent, with the chashu being my highest recommendation. It is delicately sweet and toothsome. Even the leaner cuts are tender.
It is recommended that you come for lunch, as dinner is when things tend to slow down and you want fast service and hot food that has not been waiting to be sold all day.
They have new dim sum items like fried taro and sweet potato rolls, all of which are recommended as well. They come hot to the table and are deliciously crispy.
The staff are usually only 3 women so please do have some patience. They got our order wrong once and gifted us some beef ribs, which was so nice of them. There is also no self-service tea, so you will need them to pour for you.
Overall, a great spot for lunch. Reasonable prices and good food!“

“I ordered from this Chinese restaurant for the very first time to celebrate the grand opening of my nail salon, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! We got Yang Chow Fried Rice, General Tso’s Chicken, Shrimp with Garlic Sauce, Chow Fun, and the Orange Chicken Combo.

Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The Yang Chow Fried Rice was light and tasty, the General Tso’s Chicken had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy with a crispy bite, and the Shrimp with Garlic Sauce was packed with flavor and came with fresh, juicy shrimp. The Chow Fun had a great texture and was very satisfying. But the star of the night was the Orange Chicken Combo—crispy, sweet, and absolutely delicious. All of our guests loved it, and several even asked where we ordered from!

“Excellent spot for multiple different cuisines around Asia. I can't believe it took me so long to try this place, it is excellent! The sushi was super fresh and they had lots of menu items that were very unique like the dinosaur egg(fried lobster with layers of avocado on top). The dumplings were outstanding. Probably the best dumplings I've ever had! And the prices are extremely fair, we had so much food we barely finished. Will definitely be a spot I frequent.“

“The only negative I have (and it’s a big one and has happened 4-5 times now), I order no onion in my pepper steak and they add a $2 extra meat fee. I didn’t ask for extra meat to compensate for lack of veggies , and I don’t like it added without it being acknowledged or even approved/denied.. really not okay with that decision being made without my knowledge of it and will say something next time..

However when it comes to the food? Do it. Our usual orders are a some kind of mix of chicken&broccoli, pepper steak, boneless ribs, sesame chicken, fried wontons… everything has been great every time. One of the “better “ meats when it comes to both the chicken and the beef.. delivery is uncomfortably fast at times lol. Prices are average to anywhere else around here but the portions are great. The server recommended a lunch combo menu. This comes with 5 decent sized skewers, rice or french fries and a choice of a drink. We all got a variety of skewers and shared them. We also selected BBQ oysters which were delicious 🤤!

No free parking. Street parking only. Paid during the week.
