“Not being from the area (South Jersey), I've wanted to try LeGrand Coffee House for quite a while now. So on a trip up to NY a couple days ago, we finally got the chance to stop in on our way up the Parkway. This place is amazing! This beautifully-decorated coffee house had some of THE best coffee I've ever had in my entire life. I got TWO lattes while I was there (a French Vanilla and a Honey Almond). My family and I also got the chicken pesto sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. My daughter had an iced chai tea latte and loved it. DEFINITELY get to this place if at all possible! Two thumbs up!!“

“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. High quality espresso from OSLO Roasters. I even buy the beans from them for coffee at home. The drinks are always crafted with care and they circulate creative seasonal drink specials. ☕️

The kitchen is outrageous! The chefs keep it interesting with weekly specials. One of my recurring favorites is the chorizo breakfast burrito. The chicken avocado club is also a favorite of mine. 🌯

And they are always hosting fun, creative events! You never know what event Juan, the owner, has up his sleeve. From live music after hours to local artisanal vendor markets and ceramic class pop ups, Northside has really ingrained itself in the community. ❤️“

“Pana House Restaurant is a fantastic spot for Venezuelan food! I had the pabellón, which was delicious with tender shredded beef, black beans, rice, and fried plantains. The Venezuelan sample platter was also great, featuring tasty arepas, empanadas, and tequeños. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly. Definitely recommend checking it out!“

She speaks English and Spanish. The food was a 10/10. We had the avocado roast, omelettes, French toast and the tiramisu toast. Everything was amazing. The place is a little small for large groups but the ambience is five stars. I’ll definitely visit again.“

“I come here once in a while and each experience has been pretty good. Situated by the middle of Summit (i think it is the DT area?) You get a nice view of a good ole NJ town. The staff are pretty nice here and accommodating (the dude gave me a new coffee cause someone else took it by mistake for a min). There is a lot near by and street parking as well.“

But what really sets this place apart is the vibe. The decor is beautiful, super aesthetic, and makes it the perfect brunch spot. And once a month, their Sunday brunch turns into a whole experience with a live DJ spinning Latin, Afrobeats, and R&B. The music is SO good.

Elizabeth has needed a spot like this for a long time, and Corner Hause absolutely delivered. There’s honestly nothing else like it around here. 10/10 recommend.“
