“Not being from the area (South Jersey), I've wanted to try LeGrand Coffee House for quite a while now. So on a trip up to NY a couple days ago, we finally got the chance to stop in on our way up the Parkway. This place is amazing! This beautifully-decorated coffee house had some of THE best coffee I've ever had in my entire life. I got TWO lattes while I was there (a French Vanilla and a Honey Almond). My family and I also got the chicken pesto sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. My daughter had an iced chai tea latte and loved it. DEFINITELY get to this place if at all possible! Two thumbs up!!“

From the second we sat down until the moment we left, he was outstanding. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable about the food and patient. “Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. “Cute lil chic Mediterranean cafe, felt like a quick escape from downtown Woodbridge. Chill vibes, extensive coffee and tea selection, the service was great, very friendly. Kinda tight in there so there may be a wait depending on when you go if you choose to eat there, but we had a small party of 2, so we got seated rather quickly. I enjoyed my turkey, bacon, egg, and cheese, croissant, and my wife liked her caprese toast. She really really enjoyed her tiramisu latte. The Ladyfinger was an extra special touch. High quality espresso from OSLO Roasters. I even buy the beans from them for coffee at home. The drinks are always crafted with care and they circulate creative seasonal drink specials. ☕️

The kitchen is outrageous! The chefs keep it interesting with weekly specials. One of my recurring favorites is the chorizo breakfast burrito. The chicken avocado club is also a favorite of mine. 🌯

And they are always hosting fun, creative events! You never know what event Juan, the owner, has up his sleeve. From live music after hours to local artisanal vendor markets and ceramic class pop ups, Northside has really ingrained itself in the community. ❤️“

“I really love this coffee shop for its amazing vibe and consistently delicious, well-made coffee! ☕✨ The staff is always friendly, and the service is great.
The only thing I would say is that the quality of the pastries seems to have gone downhill a little. I can’t speak for everything, but I can share my experience with the pastries I’ve tried.
When the coffee shop first opened, they had these amazing pistachio croissants that I absolutely loved. At some point, they seemed to change their baker, and unfortunately, the new ones were not nearly as good.
I also used to love getting the guava empanada here, but the last time I tried one, it didn’t taste fresh and was quite hard, almost as if it had been sitting in the display case for a couple of days.
That said, I still really enjoy this coffee shop overall and will definitely keep coming back for the coffee and the atmosphere! ❤☕“

“The BEST Baklava in the area. This place is always spotlessly clean and the staff is fantastic. They are polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. The store has several different kinds of Baklava, its selection of Turkish Delights is quite plentiful - and everything always tastes fresh. You can buy just one or two pieces, or they will make a nice mixed box of whatever you request. I have been there many times, and will certainly be going there again, especially during the holidays to buy some of their items as gifts for other people. The Turkish Coffee is great, too.“

“My girlfriend and myself, retired Philadelphia Police Officers were going on a cruise on 9/12/24 out of Cape Liberty. We arrived early and were looking for a cup of coffee and a quick breakfast. Luckily we picked Une Tasse Cafe, the coffee was fantastic and the breakfast wraps and pastries were delicious. The owner was warm and welcoming and introduced us to her dog, who actually let me pet him. I wish this restaurant was closer to where we live, coffee that good is hard to find. I just ordered two pounds on their web site so that I can enjoy it at home. Hopefully on our next cruise we will stop there again.“

“I am super impressed with this bakery! If I could give more stars, I would!! Our granddaughter loves macarons so I had the thought of ordering them for her birthday. I turned to google to find a company that would ship them. I was a little behind the game and ordered them on Monday, late afternoon, for a Friday delivery. I wasn't holding out too much hope that they'd arrive on that day since they were coming from NJ and being shipped to WI but I placed the order anyway with the requested date. But guess what! They arrived on the exact date! Not only that, but they were personalized with Happy Birthday and even her name on some of them! Additionally, they included a handwritten note with my message on it instead of something that was just printed off. They really went over and above my expectations! My granddaughter said each of the flavors were so delicious! I will definitely be ordering from them again in the future. What a wonderful company! (oh! and a side note, out of the companies I found that would ship - Izzy's was the most affordable! BONUS!!!)“
