“Our waitress was the sweetest and they have some really unique menu items. I’d say their sweet choices are better than the savory but we enjoyed everything we had. Cornbread French toast was particularly sublime! The French press Kona coffee was a great start to the day. My one small complaint was the cleanliness of the dishes. My coffee mug had a visible red lipstick stain, my water glass had food particles on it and one of my plates was dirty. Just a small critique there. The space is nice open and not stuffy. And I noticed a good amount of foot traffic overall!“

I called a day before to confirm our reservation and to my surprise the person who answered the phone didn’t secure my reservation when I called and found this out your staff went out their way to make sure I was accommodated my coworkers and I had a fabulous fabulous time it was Awesome food great as usual music great,service was exceptional as usual and the occasion was perfect. I live in Philadelphia but I go to Cherry Hill. Your hostess African American young lady nice twist in hair and glasses and beige and black sweater was awesome. “Considering I dined during mid-morning on a Sunday, the wait was respectable (10 minutes). I was seated in Yesenia's section, who was exceptionally pleasant and hospitable. My order was delivered very quickly. I spoke with the manager, Irvin, who was equally as pleasant. I wanted to compliment Yesenia real-time. Irvin was appreciative. Kudos. I look forward to dining at this location again soon!!“

“It's so hard to go to brunch with folks when all they want is eggs and pancakes, but, you can go to Turning Point and have some vegan goodies! They have Just Egg, which is great, because you don't need to feel left out. They have a delicious power up grains bowl with a salad, quinoa and legumes, and sautéed veggies, dressed up with fresh avocado and salsa. It's a pretty decent size, but if you have a large appetite, it may not be enough. Thankfully, they have vegan pancakes, yesssss! Order them and be happy with your carbs, syrup and fresh bananas and strawberries. Top it all off with a bunch of juice and beverage options like French press coffee, tea, lattes and fresh juices. There's also avocado toast, waffles, oatmeal and at least one salad that's vegan friendly. So, that's pretty much an option in all the categories. This makes it a great option for veg*ns, because so often there is only one or two choices! There's also vegan sausage if you like that with your brekkie or brunch. Yum all around - just wish they had a vegan hot chocolate section. Parking is easy, service is quick and table are plentiful.“

“My son and I had a really great experience. He ordered the avocado Benedict and it came out with bacon. We sent it back cause he’s a vegetarian. The menu omitted that it was a meat dish. Anyway, not only were they gracious about the exchange but they brought my son a fresh bowl of fruit. The apologized a few times about the mix up. The Benedict was fixed and delicious! I ordered the chili- and let me say- best chili ever!!!“

“I have been visiting this spot since 2001. Same great food, same family. Miss Mom and Pop being there but i am so glad to see the kids take over and continue serving food. The food is great and the price is good. Freshly grinded coffee, fresh food made to order. I dont care what anyone says but this is my go to breakfast spot in the entire Philly area.“

“Had a great cheese steak hoagie here last time I was in Philadelphia. Just the right amount of onions and very fresh. I had issues with some of my Canadian cards not working to pay and I felt bad causing a bother during busy breakfast hours. However the people running this place are very friendly and it's just a pleasant place to eat.“

“It's definitely a sketchy part of the city but their food is really good, and they seem like friendly enough people. My fave thing to order here is the chicken and waffles. The chicken is never seasoned but still good somehow,just needs some salt and pepper (+). Their grits are pretty good as well, not lumpy like some other breakfast spots.“

It's not the same owners I started out with but the quality of food never changed and these owners owned it for decades. If you can ignore what's going on outside it's a great stop. The neighborhood changed the restaurant did not.“

“Hubs and I are on vacation and we literally just Googled breakfast places near us. We try to eat local when we travel and avoid chain restaurants so we chose this one based on the reviews. And it did not disappoint! The food is great and there’s plenty of it! I had the western omelette and home fries and could not finish it. Hubs got two eggs, bacon, sausage and home fries and also could not finish. The service is excellent, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. A must try!!“

“This is my breakfast spot when I go into the office! It's located in the Suburban SEPTA train station so I walk (about 2 minutes) here after getting off my train.

I always order the same thing, omelet with beef bacon but sometimes I'll order pancakes, french toast, grits or add a coffee. Nonetheless everything I've ordered has been great and the prices are pretty reasonable. Even more the customer service is excellent and they are always so warm and welcoming!
