“Cute waiting area. Celebrated my birthday here. They have a great prefix menu for larger groups, email ahead of time. It was nice that we had a little bit of everything, my only complaint was that they forgot the candle in dessert when it was the main reason we were there in the first place.“

“My wife and I had lunch there today I had the chicken fried steak and my wife had the chicken panni and French onion soup. The food was excellent the server Hailee was very good and very professional. She was also very friendly and very cute. If you are close to there definitely stop in.“

“Can’t count how many times we’ve been here but here is my review of Silk City.

The food was excellent. Can’t go wrong in any order. Loved the ambiance. The drinks were good. It’s good to have a reservation as this place gets packed every time, but they could accommodate you to the diner section. Service at the diner section usually takes longer. Lots of parking around the area, but it’s better if you take Lyft or Uber. Staff were amazing and really friendly.

We will always go back to this place.“

“Tonight had to have been my best experience ever at the Ritz Diner. We walked in and were promptly seated. Soon after our waitress Kristy came over and had the best attitude and such a great personality. We have been there many times before and service had always been ehh ok but tonight from the time we walked in the door we were treated like royalty. She was so attentive and friendly with not only us but as well as all of the other people. Kristy is truly the gem of the Ritz Diner. I will be recommending to all of my friends for sure“

“The Black horse diner outdid themselves in helping provide outstanding chicken pot pies to celebrate my dad's 90th birthday. the pot pies from the Black horse diner are one of his favorites and I wanted to serve them the party I had.... the team at the diner was so helpful and accommodating and the food was absolutely over the top outstanding. I have never seen so much chicken in a a pot pie dish. am I entire life!!! thank you to the entire staff of the Black horse diner you have a fan for life!!!“

“Huge fan, I’ve never had a bad sandwich at Johnny Hot’s, until today 8/30/24. I was supposed to have just pork roll on a steak roll with spicy mustard, no egg and no cheese. The pork roll is usually cut very thin with a nice braise on it. It had egg & cheese on it. The egg & cheese were warm the meat was cool, no grill color to it. By the time I took the egg & cheese off there was hardly any pork roll, very disappointed. It was “no change” Friday, so I gave my apprentice 15 dollars for a sandwich I couldn’t even eat.“

“I used to come here with my mom and brother back in the '90s, and the food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I haven't been here in years, but I ride by there a lot and it doesn't seem the same as it used to, but because of the nostalgia, it'll always have a special place in my heart“

“Amazing hospitality on Saturday for our daughters 40th birthday. We put together last minute arrangements and Phily Diner was able to accommodate a party of 20. The food was delicious and our server (Nicole) was professional and attentive, and we all felt like VIP's upstairs. We even got to watch the football games! It was good to be home. Also they now accept debit card payment for like a year now which is good so you don't have to carry a lot of cash especially around that neighborhood (if you know what I mean).“

“This is one of all time favorite diners. The food is delicious and the servers are so fantastic and kind. I've ordered oatmeal in the afternoon a couple times and they have to make sure they still have any, which luckily they have both times. I know it's a simple item but it's one of my favorites and I appreciate that they always check instead of just saying it's too late. The French toast is some of the best ever, and they always do eggs over hard properly with zero runny yolk. The avocado toast (with added egg especially) is so delicious. The apple crumble pie is the best I've had. Clearly I could go on for days. But truly, even more than the amazing food is the amazing staff. Every single waitstaff member I have had the pleasure of interacting with has been so helpful and thoughtful and generous. I've had items substituted in ways that save money, comped drinks, just so much unexpected kindness. It's the only local diner I gk to. They're the best!“

“It's your typical/classic style Diner. The food is good though. The prices are cheap. Especially for Philly. There's not too many of these Diners left. It's great to goto if you want a quick bite and reasonable prices. I recommend their pancakes/bacon breakfast deal. You can expect to spend $25 for a full meal with the tip. Lots of meals for under $20“
