Both are great, but obviously this isn't about being fancy.I expect diner food to be somewhere between passable and good; putting it was really good and there was plenty to eat. I hate till I was stuffed and my friend took food home.I'm vegetarian/vegan , so I had the tofu scramble. This was definitely solid. There was lots of tofu so I got my protein for the morning and a good variety of vegetables; I appreciate it tofu scramble that has some greens in it like spinach. I had Fried potatoes so that I would be able to try the house-made ketchup and it was excellent. I wish more restaurants would do this. It makes eating at different places so much more interesting.If you're down for diner eating, this is definitely one of the best if not the best place to go in Philly.Vegetarian options: Sure, it's a diner. If you want eggs or tofu, you're in luck. If your vegan, it's much more restricted.“

“Best sushi around jersey not gonna lie. They are so nice and always inviting! Their food tastes so fresh and I’m always impressed, they never forget things and are EXTREMELY FAST with their orders. I even order custom rolls from them which in itself is incredible because I’m terrified of ordering things from most places like that. “Had not been here in many years since Nikki use to be our waitress and her mother was hostess manager who always made strawberry milkshake for my daughter.....fast forward we came in were promptly seated in back room which I was happy about less crowded, older lady seating us asked what we wanted to drink and said our server Jacob would be over in a minute. She brought our drinks and he promptly arrived, greeted us and answered our questions and took our order. Soup was hot and delicious and the bread was fresh and butter not melted and refrozen like many places recycle customers bread and butter. Food arrived hot, juicy, nice size portions reasonable prices. Jacob kept checking back on us, he was prompt to get refills and ask if we needed anything When came time for deserts our first two choices he came back and said manager said they were old and would not serve, A+ for honesty. Only problem was older man on register seemed to be unsure having problem with credit card... Everything was so good.We came back again asked for Jacob but this time we were sat out front. Right from get go it seemed different, the older guy that had problem with credit card seemed to be a bother seating us, seemed unsure who was working what tables.Jacob was prompt and friendly and food and service were great in fact my meal was filling which for me is a rarity. I did force myself to get desert because they looked so good and it was to die for and worth the price.My complaints for second visit All stem from the other staff: first there were three Hispanic employees 2 females wearing masks under their chins (which makes you look like idiots) who seemed sick yet were not wearing masks properly and were wrapping the silverware and Spanish guy with mop all hanging out front jabbering in Spanish the whole time (this is very disrespectful in my opinion), and the other problem is the waitress who was constantly bitching and complaining about the time and 1 hr left and customers coming in before closing and about other employees that did something she didn't like.....I don't want to hear staff drama, see goofing off and I don't want to hear all this foreign jabbering this is America speak English!! When you do that you give the appearance that you are talking about people and or don't want them to know what you are saying. It's very shady and sneaky and good way to loose customers. “Thank you to the chef who actually served real "Fried onions" on my husband's fried potatoes. These were nice brown fried onions not white/tan sauté onions. This is the only diner in this area that knew how to make FRIED onions. Thank you to the waitress for getting this correct. Always good good and service at The Lamp Post Diner!“

“Good consistent food at a great price. I have been to Rocco's numerous times and every time they deliver a good meal with friendly service. The place is small and definitely has a neighborhood diner feel, but they make everyone feel welcomed. This last visit I had the cheesesteak omelette on a roll with onion rings. Large portion size for the prize and the food was seasoned and cooked well. Their breakfast items are the star of the show so if you happen to be area swing by for a meal.“

“I loved my experience here. As a Senior citizen, you can't beat the Senior discount menu. It was outstanding. The food was discernably much higher than you could expect from a diner. My waitress was sweet and attentive. She made me feel right at home. I had the stuffed flounder from the Sr. Menu and it came with the salad bar which made it an exceptional value. I would have given it 5 stars for atmosphere except I was really uncomfortable with the phone conversation I was forced to overhear about highly unsavory and unpleasant matters 4 or so booths away. You never know what you're going to get in any given diner, but It was like that Saturday Night Live sketch with Jason Momoa where he plays an Uber driver. If that guy had not ruined my meal by putting his highly uncomfortable conversation on speakerphone I would have given it 5 stars. I am absolutely coming back again.“

“PHENOMENAL!!!! My friend and I are touring South Jersey diners we have never visited. We started our journey today with the Westmont Diner. We both are wondering if this establishment is going to be the best. My friend has his usual, the turkey platter. He is the guy who has most meals made by others. By his third bite in, he stated this turkey dinner was the best he's ever had at a diner! This is the go to guy for many on where to eat. He knows his stuff! He chose the chicken and rice soup that he said was excellent. Fresh home made bread, served hot and whipped butter accompany dinner meals. The bread is that good! I had the half roasted chicken with fresh spinach and this too was exceptional. The chicken was cooked to perfection. I chose the dinner salad and that too was so good. Lettuce with carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes and fresh sprinkled cheese and croutons. So good. Our waiter made the experience that more special. So efficient and kind. I followed his recommendations and am so glad I did. A great tell tale sign of a good diner in the parking lot. We waited for a table to be cleared. When seated in the large dining area, every table was filled. You could tell there were lots of regulars that are known by name. This is a very clean establishment that is nicely decorated. We don't live close to the Westmont Diner but will be visiting on a regular basis. Highly Recommend!!!!“
