Where to start… Trappixx is an amazing place to have a family dinner, date night, solo dinner etc. The Staff are amazing, friendly and on top of everything everything was a 10/10 best Jamaican food I’ve tasted ! GREAT EATS ! Recommend that garlic shrimp with the white rice ( mouth drooling ) lol but yeah definitely check them out !“

“Today’s my 2nd time eating there. There’s a young lady who get the orders while the other does the cashier thingy. I appreciate the young lady who serves, she’s very pleasant both times I was there. She deserves a tip. I didn’t care for potato salad and cabbage with the added frozen vegetables, I’m so happy not to have that the first time, and I’ll order again if they don’t add that. Those items are great by themselves. Thank you!“

“Had no idea what food they had, menu link not working. Just ordered what the guy in front of me ordered. Jerk chicken, beans and rice, Mac and cheese. Food was good, ordering area is deceiving, as there is a nice dining room. Will definitely be back once the menu link is working so know what to order. Med portion was huge, got two dinners out of it.“

I was charge for yams and Mac extra. The Mac was definitely homemade.Customer Service was horrible, the light skin lady very rude I ask 2 questions she kept saying do you want the food or not. I said yes twice. There's too many jamaican spots or food spots for that to be treated rude.“

“If you are looking for great Jamaican cuisine. Here is the spot: right on 5th street a busy location. My favorite can’t go wrong is Oxtail, Pig feet, Fried fish and their Fried Chicken. After a long day at work from the hospital this is my must go spot for great comfort food to smooth my soul. The Oxtail is ultimately my favorite I will drive far just for it. Plus perfect for left overs to bring to work. Adds flavor the next day:)
If you want a quick fix their Jamaican patties are great. Easy to hand on hand while walking and driving.
I saw they have soup specials. What even more cute is the have daily specials. I always try to make it on Thursday for the cow foot.“

“Wait was worth it! Food was amazing! Staff was beyond friendly and offered great insight into what was good to get! Disappointed I wasn’t able to get the oxtail cheesesteak as they no longer serve but everything superseded expectations! Portions are beyond enough for dinner, lunch and dinner the next day! Waited two hours in traffic to get home to indulge and was still very warm which was amazing! Well worth the 45 minutes to drive and pick up! Will definitely be returning soon! Price, wait worth the delicious food and friendly service we received!!“

“My favorite Jamaican spot in uptown. Food is always good, staff is super cool and friendly. This is the only Jamaican restaurant I’ve been to in Philly where the baked Mac and cheese is made right and it’s so good. The BBQ Jerk chicken is one of my faves. They give good portions too.“
