Where to start… Trappixx is an amazing place to have a family dinner, date night, solo dinner etc. The Staff are amazing, friendly and on top of everything everything was a 10/10 best Jamaican food I’ve tasted ! GREAT EATS ! Recommend that garlic shrimp with the white rice ( mouth drooling ) lol but yeah definitely check them out !“

“The food was definitely official my 1st time coming but the prices and how the charge extra for different sides was a little outta pocket. I got oxtail, mac n cheese, yams. I was charge for yams and Mac extra. The Mac was definitely homemade.Customer Service was horrible, the light skin lady very rude I ask 2 questions she kept saying do you want the food or not. I said yes twice. There's too many jamaican spots or food spots for that to be treated rude.“

“This is my first time visiting Philly. To say the least, I was craving some Jamaican food. I conducted a ton of research on various restaurants in the area in which I was staying and decided to go with Erie's due to its rave reviews and boy this restaurant did not disappoint! By far, the j*** chicken was the best I've ever tasted. The rice and beans, as well as macaroni and cheese were so delicious. Furthermore, the portions sizes were huge! Thanks for making this southern girl's day.“

“Wait was worth it! Food was amazing! Staff was beyond friendly and offered great insight into what was good to get! Disappointed I wasn’t able to get the oxtail cheesesteak as they no longer serve but everything superseded expectations! Portions are beyond enough for dinner, lunch and dinner the next day! Waited two hours in traffic to get home to indulge and was still very warm which was amazing! Well worth the 45 minutes to drive and pick up! Will definitely be returning soon! “My favorite Jamaican spot in uptown. Food is always good, staff is super cool and friendly. This is the only Jamaican restaurant I’ve been to in Philly where the baked Mac and cheese is made right and it’s so good. The BBQ Jerk chicken is one of my faves. They give good portions too.“
