Erie's Jamaican food Reviews
Got the Oxtail w/ rice+peas and candied yams as takeout.
Oxtail was fall off the bone, rice was flavorful, candied yams were perfectly spiced. My friend got chicken curry and that was super yummy too!
Gentleman at the counter was also friendly.
Seating seemed crowded, but I can def recommend this place as a good spot for takeout.
They were out of patties, but I'll def be back to try that and the coco bread!
Love the food. Curry goat is my fav. Wish I could get here every other week. Looking forward to trying the fish for the first time.

Erie's Jamaican food is a highly recommended spot for authentic Jamaican cuisine. The jerk chicken is a popular choice, known for its well-balanced flavors of slight smoke, salt, sweetness, and a kick. The rice and peas, often accompanied by a tasty oxtail gravy, make for a satisfying pairing. The plantains are described as firm yet sweet, while the beef patties are praised for their magical quality. The stewed chicken with rice and peas, collard greens, and mac and cheese is another highly recommended dish. However, it is noted that the chopped chicken may contain small bones. Service is described as friendly and informative. Overall, Erie's Jamaican food offers a delicious and authentic Jamaican dining experience.
