This spot has been on my radar for quite some time and I finally had a craving strong enough to finally get me here. I had the medium j*** chicken platter with extra rice and peas instead of an extra side and extra sauce. The j*** was spicy and sweet. The peas and rice had the perfect texture. My only minor complaint is the way the chicken was chopped I often found tiny bones in my mouth that had to be spit out. I haven't had Jamaican food in a while. Not because I didn't want any but it was hard to find good food. Well I stopped by Irie today for lunch and I have found a solid spot! I ordered jerk chicken, rice and peas and plantains. Let's talk about the jerk chicken. Outside of getting jerk chicken in JA it's hard to find jerk that comes close.
